Books - Wholesale?

My DS6 has a birthday soon and in lieu of doing goody bags filled with candy and assorted novelties that the kids lose or throw away, I'd like to give each of them a book. Anyone know a place I can buy books in greater lots? I don't want to pay retail at BN or Target or something for all these books. Taking all suggestions, thank you!

Do you only want to give everyone the same book? If not, what about dollar stores. Or, I'm not sure of the various names, but outlets have a book store chain that has all books a large percentage off. There are lots of book stores like that all over but they all have different names, do a google search for your area.

if you can wait, you might have a scholastic warehouse sale near you. it's a great source of books, especially if you do the 'build a box' option.
