deanabrown Posted November 11, 2012 Posted November 11, 2012 Just wondering if anyone has heard of good deals on mattresses on Black Friday. Thanks, Deana
bribri25 Posted November 11, 2012 Posted November 11, 2012 Im on the lookout for the same thing. I think it's going to be more of the local/regional furniture stores that you may not get to see until thanksgiving in the paper. They just aren't big enough to leak. But keep an eye on the websites of those stores. Never know if something might pop up.
kranky Posted November 11, 2012 Posted November 11, 2012 I would be wary of grabbing a mattress on a BF sale. It's very hard to compare mattresses anyway - each store has its own models so it's almost impossible to find the exact same mattress in two places. And they routinely have high "retail" prices so they can advertise big sales. My point is you should spend time researching and comparing so you don't feel pressured into grabbing one on a BF sale. I feel mattresses are really a "you get what you pay for" item. And they seem to be "on sale" every holiday so there shouldn't be any rush to pick one up.
bribri25 Posted November 11, 2012 Posted November 11, 2012 Im just looking for a twin for our son moving into a real bed soon.
len_mullen Posted November 11, 2012 Posted November 11, 2012 Check Sears right now. If you spend $500, delivery is free. Best prices on good mattresses I've seen.
