blssed2bme Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 I just bought the Mach trio 7 stealth from Walmart.com for $89. Is the HKC better than the Mach?
elena_398 Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 Is this good for a 12 yr old that just wants to listen to music, facebook, etc?
blssed2bme Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 Is this good for a 12 yr old that just wants to listen to music, facebook, etc?I'm not sure if it has Google play or what system it has to download apps.
Etaria Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 Well I hope it is good We have never had a tablet, but from the reviews, it looked like it would us nicely. I got it for a 7 yr old, a 19 yr old, and a 44 yr old who says he needs it
tknipp Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 looks like a good buy, reviews are good; price is excellent, just bought 2 for christmas gifts for 7 year old and 10 year old; now maybe they will let me have my kindle fire back! 2 year plan for $9 is a no brainer, even covers accidental damage. Was going to try to find a decent tablet for under $100 for the girls on black friday and this just saved me from fighting the crowds. Thanks for posting.
Angelseyes28 Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 Ok I need advice! Do ya'll think a 14 yr old boy would like this?
noehlp Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 Ok I need advice! Do ya'll think a 14 yr old boy would like this?My two cents - yes, with an exception. If they're a 14-yr old who has to have name brand everything, then probably not; I know a few like that.

Name brands don't matter and since my husband got laid off a week ago I'm having to try to spend as little as possible!
Donnask8pro Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 Thanks, just ordered for my 12 yr old son. Now I need a graphics card for computer?
richmond282 Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 I'm toying with this too. Was going to buy my nieces Kindle Fires, but this is a much better price and has expandable memory and a camera apparently.
bpr Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 Thanks, just ordered for my 12 yr old son. Now I need a graphics card for computer?I build my own PCs and am always looking at prices for them. Let me know if you need help finding a graphics card.
Donnask8pro Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 I build my own PCs and am always looking at prices for them. Let me know if you need help finding a graphics card. OMG yes. I have no clue. He is 12 yrs old. Where and what the heck am I buying?? lol Thank you so much
vonnyb Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 Thanks just ordered for my 9 year old son. Seemed like a better deal than some of those geared specifically for kids. Will just need suggestions on Apps. He loves Angry Birds and Simon. I will have to figure some good educational and fun apps to download. Thanks Again!
richmond282 Posted November 11, 2012 Posted November 11, 2012 I bit hte bullet and ordered 3 for my 3 nieces. I love that they are different colors. No questions about which one belongs to who.
ralph Posted November 11, 2012 Posted November 11, 2012 Does anybody know anything about the ematic they've got for 59?
Dlisa Posted November 11, 2012 Posted November 11, 2012 What are the differences between this and Kindle Fire?
richmond282 Posted November 11, 2012 Posted November 11, 2012 Amazon has it for $83.99It's not the same thing. The one on Amazon is only 4GB. This one is 8.
JRSOne Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 now $99I was going to buy my 4 yr old a Nexus 7, but my wife is having a fit because he is just 4 and really doesn't need it. While she is technically right, he uses our old iphones w/o the sim card, I want to get him a tablet. Trying to figure out if getting this for $99 is worth it. I really like the Nexus 7 @ $199, but this sparked my interest as one of the cheap tablets that might work.
tknipp Posted November 23, 2012 Posted November 23, 2012 I ordered 2 of these and got them in the mail within 2 days. I've set them up and tried them out, I have to say not bad for $99. They are for 7 yr old and 10 yr old and I think they will be great. I would caution all parents out there that if you have wireless internet there is virtually no protection. We have tried downloading at least 3 different parental control apps and none seem to keep you from searching the web and getting inappropriate content.
