disgrajak Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 Hi, I called my local TRU today and they said they will adjust prices on BF as long as it's within 14 days (just like Target). Anyone else have any info about this??
ReillyCheyenne Posted November 18, 2005 Posted November 18, 2005 Yes, I work for TRU and we do price adjust on BF but if it is a doorbuster you have to come in the store during that time. You only have to bring your receipt and go to customer service which shouldn't be that busy because we don't check people out there, but beware other people might be thinking the same way you are. JediBaja Posted November 19, 2005 Posted November 19, 2005 Strange...I work at a TRU in So Cal and we dont price match period. We used to like 6 months ago, but all of a sudden they said we couldn't b/c our prices are "competitive" (yeah right). It sucks though b/c we lose a lot of business.

It sucks though b/c we lose a lot of business.We don't PM but we do Price Adjust w/in 14 days like if you bought something this week and it goes on sale on BF then we would price adjust it.
newmania Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 As an employee of ToysRUs you can be confident that we do price adjust within 14 days. Receipt only needed. Price Adjustment must be made within sale period so better get there in the morning if it is a black friday special.

I am on maternity leave but have worked at that store for 5 years and I remember Price adjusting before but they may have changed things this year. Best bet talk to a manager or supervisor. Oh please don't tell them you heard it from me, not that I am ashamed of GottaDeal but I don't know how they would react to me being on here telling ya'll this and I go back in 2 weeks.
