Jennifer0530 Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 Does anyone know where to buy a Turn Dial Microwave? My sister and her husband want one cause they don't like the punch button ones. Has anyone seen them on sale in any BF ads? TIA
RossMAN Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 Not that I'm aware of as most modern microwaves are digital.
Christypl Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 Not BF but I bought one for my classroom for $25 at Big Lots last weekend.
Guest Frieked Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 I haven't seen a turn dial microwave in years. When I was in college the ones they had for rent were turn dial but they were all years old. Try your local thrift store for some used models.
Guest russvegas Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 Wal-Mart usually has one for around $30 in stock.
Jennifer0530 Posted November 17, 2005 Author Posted November 17, 2005 Thanks everyone. My sister bought one two years ago and Loved it, but one of her kids dropped it while moving in to their new house and now it doesn't work to well.

pebbles Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 Only in Michigan do they still use turn-dial microwaves..the punch button ones must be too complicated
saturnboy01 Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 Try a closeout store or clearance store or flea market or pawn shop for something like that or local newspaper...You never know. I have one that I used 1 time when I got an apartment havent used it since. Its brand new (except the 1 time I used it) You couldnt even tell I used it. I think I still have the box also. Its white w/turn dial.
shanni Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 Our local Walmart still sells them, they were 19.99 or 29.00, so I don't remember which!

Guest Deals4Me Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 Turn dials can be found anywhere. I've had mine as a gift at my housewarming a year and a half ago!
alimfp Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 Wow, I didn't realize they still made them either. The question is, do they come in the ugly mustard color (just like my Grandma's!)?
saturnboy01 Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 I have a white one from about 5 years ago. Its very bright and nice.
keith_dude Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 Got one in my basement that's been in the family at least 15 years. For $50 plus shipping I'll send you this bad boy! (j/k...you really don't want it)
