gatorburg Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 I think this year there the stores is going to make the whole week Black Friday so what should it be called? Black Friday Week? Black Week? Week you Go Broke? lol Just thinking cause it is getting closer to that magical time now Dollar Tree has Halloween items out now.
tinkrbel Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 The Week of No Sleepwould be nice... but there will probably be nothing but dud deals leading up.
stationchief Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 With all the major chains that opened earlier last year I wouldn't be surprised if they started calling it Black Week. Or they might dare to call it Black Thanksgiving, since they all opened evening of turkey day.
freesia39 Posted August 6, 2012 Posted August 6, 2012 "Hrm I already get Thurs and Fri off, maybe I"ll just take the whole week" week.
noehlp Posted August 6, 2012 Posted August 6, 2012 Chaos overload! From the Thanksgiving Day & dinner prep, to the last minute leaked ads, the undisclosed "hot" prices, making lists & checking them twice. But eh, it's all worth it ~ I wouldn't know what to do without chaos. Another idea, Burnt Turkey Week!

momof3luvs1 Posted August 6, 2012 Posted August 6, 2012 I LOVE to shop and Black Friday for me each year is like a holiday in itself =)...but I do NOT like all these stores opening on Thanksgiving, no deal on earth is good enough for me to leave my family that day. I know everyone is different and Im not saying my opinion is right or wrong...just saying I miss the older days when black friday was ACTUALLY black FRIDAY..lol
racerfan Posted August 6, 2012 Posted August 6, 2012 I can't wait. I don't care what day they open I will be there. I feel bad for the employees but happy they are there to open for me Last year I camped out for 25 hours before BB opened. Not sure if I will have to do that again all depends on what is offered. I will be looking for a tablet and a new laptop for ME!! The kids want money this year DS is saving for a car and DD wants her bedroom redone. They both got tablets last year and DD got a new laptop DS desktop will be 2 years old but works great, so they really don't need anything this year and I will be happy to give them money.
