Momto32003
Not sure if this is the right forum or not so if it is wrong, feel free to move. TIA I was at Wal-Mart and saw it on sale for $41 normally $59.99. My 3 year old and 5 year old has been asking for it since last year. Just couldn't see spending $59.99 on one. For those that have one, do the kids enjoy it? Should I go for it and get it for that price? TIA!!
joann
We bought the consule model last Christmas. My then 4 year old played it for a few days then it got pushed aside. Lately she's been playing it alot more and our 3 yo likes it too. Think about the hand held one. It uses the same cartridges and I think you can plug it into the TV. It's more expensive. But might be cheaper in the long run if your little ones deceide they want to go mobile.

Momto32003
Thanks for your replys. My boys have a gamecube, dreamcast, and xbox and play all the time. My daughter wants to play and I feel bad because she can't. I figured with the v-smile at least she could play her own.
Jenniferharrison82
My son doesn't play 'constantly' with it, but I feel I have got my moneys worth out of it. I am 'upgrading' to the pocket this christmas hoping he will enjoy it more. He already has some of the smartridges that go with it. It was 79.99, but that is what I paid for the console when it came out. I took it out of the box (the pocket) the other night to play with it, and I think he is going to really like it. MissC63
I bought the handheld one for my 3 year old this year. My only worry is that the pictures will be too small.
