Mugglemom Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 I see the youth sizes at Target, but these are for my daughter who wears a ladies size 7. Anything out there? Thanks!
byond Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 don't know about BF but Durnhams sporting goods has good prices, got my son's roller hockey skates there- $100. but they have cheaper price ones
biomajor Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 a ladies sized 7 is about the same as a youth size 5/6. She should be able to wear them.
Winterhawk Posted November 15, 2005 Posted November 15, 2005 If you want recreational skates (ones with longer wheelbase and a heelstop) try sporting goods stores like Sportsmart, Dicks, Galyans, etc. Avoid places like Walmart and Kmart at all costs. You will end up with skates that hurt or fall apart. If you want hockey skates, again try a sporting goods store. You may actually find some pretty good deals at stores that specialize in hockey equipment. Lastly, online, try these sites. They have some decent deals from time to time: www.hockeymonkey.comwww.hockeygiant.comwww.inlinewarehouse.com
Mugglemom Posted November 15, 2005 Author Posted November 15, 2005 Thanks for the advice. I'm going to check out these websites. She really wants a good pair for roller hockey and skating at the local skate park, so I probably should look into a specialty store. The only problem is that she will probably out grow them too soon!
