Need hallmark keepsake childs age 3rd, 4th, & 5th xmas bear w/ cookie ornaments

Please, please, please, just found out the hallmark keepsake christmas ornaments for first to fifth, (bear with number that looks like a cookie) is in its last year. I stopped into local hallmark store today to get 3rd year, and just found out. I have called hallmark stores in over 100 mile radius, with no luck. I need 3rd, 4th, & 5th years to complete series for our 2-year-old ds.

If anyone has any suggestions or assistance, please let me know. I am getting desperate, we just brought the little guy home from the hospital and i cannot go driving all over looking for them. Tia, heather

I just found all three on eBay. I don't know what the original prices were, but 3rd and 4th year seems reasonable. But the 5th year is getting kinda high.

thanks--i saw some also. Original prices are 9.99. I just think charging 3 - 4 times the original price is wrong.

My daughter that is turning 11 next week just noticed that her Christmas stocking says 1999, she was born in 2000, I said that I got it before she was born, she said "OK". lol

What that means to me is that it's the last year they will have this series that begins with a first year. Meaning... next year they will start first year with a new series. But you should be able to still get 4th and 5th year next year and the year after with the correct years on them. If you get them all now, they will all say 2011 on them, and that isn't what is supposed to happen. Your 3rd year will say 2011, the 2nd should say 2010, and first 2009. Check with Hallmark to make sure you were told the right thing by the sales associate.

melissa--i know they would all be dated 2011, but when we went to buy my third christmas this year, we found out that this is the last year for this series. So now i have to try to find my third, my fourth, and my fifth christmas to complete the set. I do not know what else to do.

 

I know this may sound corny, but for our older boys, every year we get an ornament and date it. Then this year, when our 21-year-old, moved out i gave him all of his ornaments to have for his own tree.

 

I would love any other ideas or help.

nope- i have already confirmed it--last year for the series, there is no next year! Now i am stuck. We have one for baby's first dated 2008, but he was not born until dec 31, 2008. We just kept that one wrapped up in the box. Then in 2009, we bought another for baby's first, but it is dated 2009. In 2010, we bought baby's second. The dates are on the back, so i do not think that is a big deal. It is just i have started with this series, and am lost. I cannot find the missing ones, and i cannot find a different type to change to.
