Would prefer a non docking camera, digital/optical zoom, actual viewfinder (if possible), and minimal shutter lag. I like Olympus - my previous camera has survived much use and abuse since 2002. I was looking and at walmart.com right now they have the Kodak z700 with docking station for 198.00... If DH waits till Thanksgiving he can get the one that Kmart is going to have for sale.. I'm kind of leaning towards that HP, any opinions?Yes, stay away from HP. Is $250 your total budget? You will need to buy a memory card, so keep that in mind. I don't think I have seen anything that beats the Dell deals over the past couple of months. I personally would go with the Canon A520 and get a decent sized memory card.
