krissy72 Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 I have to agree. This sale does not impress me, but I am not shopping for tvs. I rarely shop BB as in my opinion they are priced higher than most competing stores. Maybe, if this ad is a partial ad, there will be more deals to be had.
Brad Posted November 10, 2005 Author Posted November 10, 2005 Keep in mind that: a) this list could turn out to be fake if real, it's just a very small part of the overall ad
TvBob Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 Some of it could be fake, but apparantly the slightly older toshiba 51 inch for 899 briefly last november without hdmi so hopefully they will do it again. And there was much expectation that another store would match walmarts sub 1000 42 inch plasma.
TheDude Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 Not bad. More laptop choice for me. The closest walmart to my place is in a semi-shady neighbourhood, BB is practically across the street. So, BB it is.
Brad Posted November 10, 2005 Author Posted November 10, 2005 Sears also has the Toshiba 51" 51HC85 model for $899.99 (also includes HDMI)
Mike Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 At first I thought that was a 30" LCD TV for that cheap.
VonnegutFan Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 Any word of when the print ad will be out? I'm sorry if I'm being annoying, just wondering.
Mike Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 Are scans out yet? Im not sure if he would add rumor to the title if he had the scans. Im sure they will be out soon though.
zzxc Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 From the ad: eMachines Celeron M Desktop w/ 17" Monitor - $149.99 That computer definately wouldn't exist. Only a very few number of special motherboards have adapters to allow an Intel mobile processor to be used in a desktop chipset. I highly doubt emachines would use one. Also, this price seems very low for including a 17" monitor.
tootsieroll23 Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 THANK YOU! Been waiting on this one. :woot2:

Last year BB had a emachines on BF for 199(after 400 in rebates) and it came with a 17" monitor.

lalaneby Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 I've never noticed a Celeron M in a desktop, but a curious thing- on the BB website they have HP slimline desktops that say they use the Celeron M...
FatRocky Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 so in your guys opinion which is a better deal on the laptops. I really want to get one this year at Best Buy. I am assuming both of these 2 lap tops are better than the one that wal-mart is offering???

Mike Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 It appears to be the same card. Hard to tell without a picture or exact model number.
