Christmas Lights:White or Colored?

I love seeing the icicle lights on the houses. Those look so neat & can be so pretty. I love the blue & candy cane ones.

I use white lights on the inside of the dining room tree, closest to the trunk. Then I put red and green lights around the outside.

 

I am using blue and yellow (gold) lights on the inside of the living room tree, with multi-color lights around the outside.

 

White lights on the other two trees.

Colored on the tree and white on the house....looks more "classy" for lack of a more original term:D

always white inside and outside. If you have a tree in front of house, put a blue neon net lights on the tree. It looks so pretty at night.

We do one color (usually blue near the trunk and white on the edge. Then we have blue, sliver and, frosted glass ornamints. We do white on the house and milti in the yard outside.

I am a huge fan of colored lights........ for everything...... to me it's just not as festive when they're all white.

I like them both, so I have to switch what I put on the tree every year..although maybe I should just put up another tree.

White on the tree inside. One year I tried colored ones, but dh agreed with me that it just wasn't the same. Someday, I'll have a larger house where I can have two trees--one with white lights, one with colored ones.

 

We do have colored lights outside, if dh puts them up.
