So I bought one to give to my sister. When it arrived, it was in terrible shape....badly scratched all over, no accessories. When we buy portable electronics, whether new or refurbished (I mostly buy refurbished these days), we keep them in cases and with screen protectors so that they always look like new. I can't believe they allowed someone to trade in an ipod in that condition or tried to resell it in that condition. Return was easy though and free. I wouldn't recommend it.
