crix101 Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 The main walmart ad shows the L-Max Leapster and three games. The List says that it is the Leapter and three games for 89.00. Could that be right? What a deal if so! What do you guys think? The reason that I think it is the L-max is because of the game packaging. Maybe it is just l-max for 89.00, games sold separately. ?????
kandstweedy Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 Hey! Just saw your post! Where are you seeing that at, cuz if it's true that would be awesome!! I want to get this leapster l max for my 6 yr old daughter~!! I looked and could not find what you are talking about!! TIA
kandstweedy Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 Ok found the place where you are looking...hmmmm...! I can't tell if it's all three games and the leapster for 89.00 or not!! Now i am excited!! I hope it is!!! Why would they show the three games up there like that!!?? Hope we find out soon!! Thank you for posting this!! :)
kandstweedy Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 It's me again! If that is the deal did you notice it will be available on line and 97 cent shipping!! So we will have to watch for that one!!! That would make things soooo much easier!!!
simonalex Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 as far as i know the leapster thing is in Samsclub for $90 with 3 games Simonalex
JazzMama Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 I'm curious as well ... I do know that at Sam's Club right now they have a Leapster (NOT L-Max) bundled with 2 games plus the 1 game that's already on the Leapster for around this price. **LOL - SimonAlex ... great minds think alike**
crix101 Posted November 8, 2005 Author Posted November 8, 2005 The games it shows are Dora, Spongebob and Spider man isnt it? Anyway, we will have to wait until the ad comes out or we get a better scan. What is everyones opinion on the Lmax vs. the Leapster. It seems the only difference is the on screen capabilities. If you use it on the road mostly, will there be much use in the extra $?
kandstweedy Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 Hello again! I was trying to look real close and it looks like the last line sais something cartridge and a price so I am thinking the cartridges are seperate! Darn it! But I hope not!!
eew92 Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 It's the leapster not hte lmax. They have a leapster out now that looks like the lmax. It's still not a bad deal though b/c the cartridges are still $20-$24 for the leapster ones.
WELUVKDS79 Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 I think the leapster is like $70 so I would definately check it out!!!
Mugglemom Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 Where exactly are you seeing the scan of the Leapster. I looked on the scan here: http://www.blackfridaysaleads.com/images/scans/gottadeal_walmart_bf_1.pdf But I didn't see a Leapter, just the Leap pad plus writing. Thanks!
crix101 Posted November 9, 2005 Author Posted November 9, 2005 It is not in the early bird part of the ad but in the regular sale part.
tinycaramel Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 The only difference between the leapter and the l-max is the ability to plug it into the TV. I was thinking this would be a good feature on the road also because it can then be plugged into the monitor of a portable DVD player which i am getting from Walmart on BF (Emerson dual screen 7" for $149).
