allshoppedout
Thank you for posting this! I LOVE going to it every year and haven't received notification as to when it is being held! For anyone that hasn't gone before - Don't eat before you go! GREAT Food and Drinks for all! :)Drinks like CoCOa ? coffee? hmmm what else? Is is SUPER crowded, like people shoving and stuff? because no matter how good the food is, if people are generally like that, I'd rather eat a sandwich at home, ya know? Is is SUPER crowded, like people shoving and stuff? because no matter how good the food is, if people are generally like that, I'd rather eat a sandwich at home, ya know?We had flavored coffees to drink and one year even wine... I kept going back to that booth! It is a little crowded - but not bad - at least not at ours... but ours isn't in a HUGH City, so that could be why. I think what I like most about it is getting to try things that I would not normally buy and finding out that I really like them and adding them to my Holiday Party foods. Adds a little something new to the Christmas Eve Hodge-podge dinners my family likes to do.

floridasun5
I hope to get to this event this weekend. Hoping it's all Sams club over the country correct? I asked my bf if he saw anything about it in the store as he goes quite regularly and he didn't see anything. Would love to try some new things and get some ideas as well for the holidays. floridasun5
Doesn't seem like it. Go HERE and enter you zipcode to find out what events are taking place where near you:)That link was just for Walmart stores, not Sams Clubs. I went back and looked at the other link again and it does say all 610 Sams stores, so I will make a visit and hope they are participating. tyreejames
We go every year and enjoy it; they just sent me an email about it but we're at Sam's just about every weekend anyway. It's a running joke in our family that we don't eat before going to Sam's so we can taste all the samples :)
otonoh
I hate it, people act like they are straving to death, blocking aisles, makes it so hard to actually shop.
mgmckny
We went late in the day today, the people in the area around the meat were crazy, they were blocking the aisles with their carts, very odd, but the rest of the area was fairly easy to manoever through. Talked my brother into a Keurig for my mom..... Now I want one... ??????????????????/

allshoppedout
Well we went today, for the first time. I was honestly thinking I may turn around and go home because there were THAT many cars in the parking lot, well I guess everyone came in separate cars because it wasn't bad inside. Yes some people were vultures, and what bothered me, was 1-the liars, who asked for a sample "for their husband" who I saw them with 2 min. ago in the aisle, who also was in the same line getting a sample "for their wife" -so in other words, they got "double" their share... and 2- the vultures who just cut infront of my family after we had been standing there for 5 min. in front waiting for a sample.... It happened 2 x by the crabcakes and we didn't get any, the worker apologized but we had to leave (10 min. for the crabcakes to cook). But there weren't that many of the # 1 or # 2 type people, so it was an overall good experience. Not really many aisle blockers at my club.We did get samples of ham & potatoes, bacon and chicken bruschetta, craberrry juice, apple cider, buffalo chicken wings, bagels with cream cheese, greeen bean caserole, dunkin donuts coffee, pillsbury cin. rolls, pumpking cheesecake, chicken noodle soup, pork roast with tom. & cilantro, steamed brussel sprouts, artichoke dip with crackers and goat cheese/filo dough. Just wondering if you all had similar foods at your Sam's????
floridasun5
Finally got to Sams today myself. I guess we got pretty lucky because we didn't really encounter any problems with other shoppers. There were of course the lollygagglers who want to stand around and talk to the people giving out food or block aisles, but the store was not very busy so there was plenty of room to move around. We had: Ham and potatoes Asparagus, brussel sprouts and red onion mix Dunkin Donuts coffee Chocolate covered pretzels Cranberry juice Apple cider Pork loin Green bean casserole Pumpkin Cheesecake Cinnamon Rolls Spanikopita Bacon and Chicken bruschetta So it looks like many of the Sams had a lot of the same foods. I so wanted to buy a lot of stuff like the cheesecake for instance! lol but I dont have room in my freezer to keep it so I'll have to go back. It was definitely worth the trip and I would love to do it again!
