crix101 Posted November 3, 2005 Posted November 3, 2005 My kids birthdays are in March and April. I have always bought most of their gifts on Black Friday, wrapped them and saved them until thier birthday. I pickup most of the good deals and hand them out as school birthday gifts or neices and nephews throughout the year. Does anyone else do this?
rosegarden Posted November 3, 2005 Posted November 3, 2005 I buy gifts year round whenever I find a great deal. I have been known to purchase things on BF and hold them for B'days later
codeblue Posted November 3, 2005 Posted November 3, 2005 Yes, I do too. The only problem with that is some times deals are so good that you buy too much. In fact I still have a few things from last BF that I can give to the kids this year.
elena_398 Posted November 3, 2005 Posted November 3, 2005 I buy buy buy on BF. Never stay to my lists. I buy year around though for gift giving. If I see something on BF that my mom on her birthday would want, I buy it. Everything doesn't have to be for christmas
Kandy Posted November 3, 2005 Posted November 3, 2005 I also buy durning the year when I see something special that it is on sale and will hold it for birthday's, wedding present's,baby showers etc.
aolson Posted November 3, 2005 Posted November 3, 2005 I was just thinking about buying my youngest (7 wks old yesterday!) some of the Care Bears at Walmart to hold for her 1st birthday. Andrea
elena_398 Posted November 3, 2005 Posted November 3, 2005 My friend's daughter is 1 yrs old and I bought the Doodlebear at TArget for $10 for her when she gets older. They are just too cute and I know whe loves bears in general. I also plan on getting a carebear and/or a CPK for her to put away also
eve Posted November 3, 2005 Posted November 3, 2005 yes it justs works out since you are there anyway
pumpkin255violet Posted November 3, 2005 Posted November 3, 2005 I have actually never thought of this..lol Thanks for the idea
ebony0421 Posted November 4, 2005 Posted November 4, 2005 I buy things all year long, but if it's a good price on bf, I will pick up more. :g_thumble
cami_reardon Posted November 4, 2005 Posted November 4, 2005 Sure I have done that. Especially when our own kids were little. We fostered so I always needed extra gifts around.
Princess7915 Posted November 4, 2005 Posted November 4, 2005 A good portion of my family has birthdays in January!! Between those and the holiday's we're all broke from Thanksgiving to Valentine's day!!! LOL. I love birthday shopping on BF and after Christmas sales.
