wf2afcop Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 I will wrap a few things, no bow and I have to be careful not to use that specific wrapping paper on any other gifts-one year though Santa did have to 'burrow' paper from me, as he forgot to bring some. =0)
Gporter34 Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 No, we do not wrap Santa gifts or stocking stuffers. We wrap gifts to each other but we open those on Christmas Eve and I do not want to clean up all of that torn up paper twice.lol
shopping mom Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 I do stocking fr our parents and I wrap those, but I do not wrap the kids stocking stuffers
tootsieroll23 Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 No, not unless it is something special that cost a little more then what I would normally spend on a stocking stuffer.
peachysquirt21 Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 Sometimes I do & so does my mom. Depends on the item. If it's candy it is never wrapped.
WELUVKDS79 Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 Nope, and I am wondering why someone would do that????
swineyklan Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 I wrap ours , as i fill it as the season goes on. my husband is known to try to take a look...
WELUVKDS79 Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 Ok, that would make sense. I normally buy it all like a week ahead and hide it behind the cleaning supplies (nobody likes going there) and put it all in Christmas Eve...
CathyFL Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 My kids are aged 15, 22, 28 and if I didnt wrap there stocking stuffers they would have a fit!!...I guess your never to old Cathy
Gumball Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 Normally I wouldn't but this year I got my daughter a huge stocking from Big Lots for $5.99 and it's big enough to put larger stuff in too. I think it's at least 3 1/2 feet tall. It even has a pocket on the front for a letter to Santa. :)
Pseed Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 I did at first, because it was such a big "thrill" just unwrapping items for her (my daughter). I doubt I will this year, since she's 4. I'm thinking "Santa" will put GBA games in there this year instead of around the tree, and if "he" does, those will be wrapped. Candy or small items, no...I don't wrap them.
missyjane Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 I wrap a few things, then I also like to have something cute peaking out. A candied sucker or a small stuffed toy. The stockings aren't filled until Santa comes anyway so I'm not worried about anyone peaking.
mombbsmj Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 I think I'm a compulsive wrapper...LOL. I will wrap everything that doesn't move until DH stops me. I guess I love to unwrap things so thats what my kids get.
ShawnainKY02 Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 No because all stocking stuffers go in on Christmas Eve when Santa makes his deliveries and Santa doesn't wrap.
BrandyJervas Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 yup I think it's funny watching people unwrap that little chapstick lol.
threelittlecupcakes Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 How do you fit anything into those stockings??? Cd's Dvd's and the like are impossible to get into their stockings.
AuntJamelle Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 Sometimes I will wrap a stocking stuffer if it is a special gift that just happened to be small. I also wrap all stocking stuffers that I send to my dear friend in Texas - if I don't wrap she will be forced to peak when she fills her own stocking.
Jenniferharrison82 Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 It all depends..the cheapy little trinkets I don't. If I get like a dvd or something I will wrap it and stick it in there.
shopping mom Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 I do wrap stocking stuff for the adults, but I do not for the kids. My husband likes to see what the kids are getting in their stockings so I buy it and he stuffs them.
