Perhaps it's time to remove the "Total Visitors" today listing

With One to Two Thousand people visiting a day it's rather large, and it really brings down my home and work PC when loading the homepage for the forum. Do I have a 2nd?

Sounds fair enough. Maybe we'll just add the current total to the other stats and get rid of the long listing until after BF and everyone leaves, lol.

You can still see how many members visited, just not the names of everyone that did. Good fix IMO.

I will miss the super long list (I guess it's all about forum pride, Brad would understand) but we'll turn it back on after BF.

I noticed that was missing ... last night I was shown it can be easily minimized and also to show the listing.

I just minimized mine. :)

Minimizing it doesn't help the load time because the list is still loaded everytime the page is viewed even if it's minimized.

 

But after BF the list should go back down to a more manageable size so it will be back :)
