simonalex
Hi everyone, I know u guys are Greeaat fans of Target. But unfortunately I never never had any good luck with this store. I always find items that are just 30% off. How do you find itmes that are 75% or 90% off?? And taht too on toys?? I saw the thread on Perimeter perusal-- but that is for seasonal sales only. what about things like toys?? Thanks Simonalex
JanaBanana
I have better luck then because I found a toy that was normally 29.99 for $7.10! Im happy with Target :) You need to look on the end caps down each isle.
starshine
They do it on toys also. Go around the back side of the store on the ends of aisles and that is usually where all of the great mark downs are. But check up each aisle also in the toy section they sometimes still have the mark downs there also. I get tons of toys dirt cheap at Target. I was just wrapping the ones I got today. I got my son a huge Power Ranger motercycle with the action figure it was normal 19.99 marked down to 4.95. So check out the ends of aisles but check up the aisle also and it is mostly hit or miss when you get a good deal.

Stowasser
They have clearance all year round! I have been picking up toys since last February. Pretty much everything goes on clearance at one point. Sometimes they keep stuff in the aisle too. I was just there and picked up some more toys that came on clearance. They have some My Scene cars, Bratz stuff, cards, Nerf stuff.....I go every week and do the end caps and walk around the whole store. There are some great clothing clearance items like Mens T-shirts, flannel sleep pants, lightweight jackets-girls there are pants, t-shirts, jackets. Housewares has pillows, sheets, bath items. It just all over the store. I think Target brings in people because of their clearance. I know I go there and end up picking up lots of other things too.... oldandintheway
Pertaining to the Target Markdown Schedule, your stores may or may not follow it. The Targets in my area have never followed the Markdown Schedule. One the best things to remember is a lot of Targets don't markdown items at the same time. Most of the time around here I can go into a Target and see and item clearanced at 50% off and go into another Target and the same item will be 30% off. All markdowns with the exception of seasonal is done by hand in the stores. It depends on how well an item is selling. Most seasonal merchandise is a computer generated markdown done by corporate.
