outnumbered
In your area...which stores stock the smallest number of doorbusters? Last year I noticed every store I went to had what I wanted still in stock...but a few years back I went to K-Mart and almost everything on my list was gone by the time I got to it. I arrived at the store at 4:30 am and was probably 50th in line. When they opened the doors and let us in, I went straight to the talking Bob the Builder doll that they were selling for $5...and they were already all out of Bob and only had two Wendy dolls left. This was within 2 minutes of the store opening! I didn't have much luck with anything else on my list for that store either and finally cut my losses and went to wait at Toys R Us, where I was probably 100th in line, but found everything I wanted. I haven't been back to K-Mart on BF since. So what stores in your area are notorious for having very few of their deal items actually in stock? elena_398
Yeah, I'll agree with Kmart. The video games they have on sale every year constantly sell out.
starshine
I have never really had any problems with items I want selling out.
Steakgoddess
I havent really had too bad of luck on getting things on BF. One time that I can remember Target ran out of some toy I had wanted to get.
darkkan
Best Buy always only has like-the miniumum amount of the scanners/printers/digital cameras (read the Thanksgiving Day paper fine print), and Target/Walmart usually sell out of the doorbusters pretty quick. Kandy
Kmart and Circuit City are the two I ran across last year.
JazzMama
Another vote for Kmart; I usually have a hard time finding what I want. However, last year one of our Walmart stores was already sold out due to the fact that someone released the pallets early (24-hr store).
Guest Deals4Me
Our Walmarts are awesome, everything but TV's, you can buy at that price for the rest of week. Kmart is awful...the sales are that great and the one thing that is, is usually gone.
fairydustcrissy
Wow, last year Kmart was my last stop, and I got everything I wanted..they still had plenty of everythin but one thing i was there for! But it is kinda out of the way (thats why we went there last). I would say Targets items go pretty fast, and I dont even bother with BB anymore, cuz they go so fast. Aaron
I've read that Toys R Us always has, lets say 100 of something in stock but is told to only put out 50 or so. I guess that's to limit the deals.

I guess that's to limit the deals. We found that out the year the Nerf bow and arrows were popular. They didn't have any left on the shelves. So we asked and they said they weren't allowed to bring the ones they had in the back up to the floor. I was a little angry, but we found them elsewhere. Shann
I have not really had many problems with stores running out of what I wanted, but I never wanted big ticket items, I do however stay away from Best Buy.. it's a mad house and I feel extremely claustrophobic with how many ppl are in that little store not to mention I hate waiting in line for hours and there line wraps all the way around the store... no thank you
bayhaysay
Last year I got to radio shack pretty early (I thought) and they were out of everything I wanted. I ended up buying one of those m&m radios for 5$ and that was it. Unless their ad is just absolutly spectacular I won't waste my time there this year. brynnfromtheblock
Best Buy sometimesonly has a couple of their best deals, so unless you're like 10th u could be in trouble
jrsgirl8
I agree with Kmart. They always advertise great deals on video games, but never seem to have them even if you are one of the first in line!!! Carrie
abram87
Last year, our Target ran out of the Family Guy dvds really quickly, and I didn't get one. sigh.
sgtboots
Were the $5 items at WalMart supposed to be a scheduled time thing (6a-11a?). We were there at 2 pm and they still had plenty and were selling them at $5. I just can't remember if they were a time limit thing.
