Joli
My kids have managed to break our wii, it will no longer read the discs. We bought the cleaner and that didn't help. I don't want to buy the replacement lens becuase I don't want to waste another $40 if that isn't the problem either. Has anyone seen any deals like the ones before Christmas?? At this point I would settle for anything less than full price! Thanks!
peppysfireball
Usually you can send them in for repair much cheaper. I know with my portable dvd players, for one low charge , around 40, they will fix whatever is wrong. Worth checking into.

Joli
I couldn't find anywhere local that would fix my wii, I called nintendo and they will fix it for $85 and it will come with a 12 month warranty, if they can't fix it they will replace it. I am pretty happy about saving $100!!!
AndreaInNC
Same thing happened to our wii. We shipped it back to nintendo and paid the 85 to have them fix it. Works fine now and I got the 1 year warranty. Just curious how old is your wii?
Joli
We got our wii when they first came out - maybe around 3 years ago?
AndreaInNC
so did we. That's odd that the same thing happened to yours too that happened to ours.
