naurto555 Posted October 9, 2005 Posted October 9, 2005 I need a tuxedo for a ball that I plan to attend in 2 weeks. Anyone know if any companies or stores are having sales or anything?
naurto555 Posted October 10, 2005 Author Posted October 10, 2005 I actually want to buy one since I know i'll be using it a few more times in the future.
elena_398 Posted October 10, 2005 Posted October 10, 2005 Men's Warehouse is your best bet. My husband got one from there and they had the best pricing.
jamesave Posted October 10, 2005 Posted October 10, 2005 I've got mine from nordstrom rack. jamesave Posted October 10, 2005 Posted October 10, 2005 by the way, how many times will you be wearing the tux this year alone? if you only wear it once, even if you will wear it in the future, your size may have changed. in this case renting will be cheaper.

RossMAN Posted October 10, 2005 Posted October 10, 2005 I rarely have a need for a tux. I'm always up for renting one although it can get expensive (around $150).
naurto555 Posted October 10, 2005 Author Posted October 10, 2005 yeah when i last rented my tux i spent 130 dollars and i had to return it and make sure i didnt lose parts of it and whatnot. But i only expect to wear it at most 3 times for the next two years.
jamesave Posted October 10, 2005 Posted October 10, 2005 i forgot how much I paid for my tux. i think it was either $300 or $700. but definitely it's cheaper than even Macy's tux that were on sale as well.
naurto555 Posted October 12, 2005 Author Posted October 12, 2005 should i get a suit instead? would it be cheaper than a tux? I talked to the people and they said i dont have to get a tux, a suit will do.
jamesave Posted October 13, 2005 Posted October 13, 2005 suit is used more often than tux. what are you using it for? If you are looking for a job, then wear suit for the interviews.
