ohitsunshine
My daughter's top item is a camcorder and Sears has the best deal. They open at 4, I am usually in line for Wal-Mart or Target! Ugh. I do not want to go to Sears first. The camcorder is listed for Friday and Saturday. Tell me- what is their stock usually like, can I order online, what time do I need to get there and is there a system I should know about? To make matters more difficult we are visiting family so I do not even know the location we will be going to!
peppysfireball
We don't have a Sears and the last two years I've ordered my camcorders and cameras from Sears and Best Buy. They go on sale online at midnight, then I head out for the walmart sale. I had my camera already in my shopping cart and when I got online all I had to do was pay..THe price was already adjusted in my cart.
yellowjeepster
I bought a camcorder a few yrs. ago online as well. The price usually changes over at midnight like peppysfireball said. Since it isn't a doorbust and is on the 2 day sale then I would be confident that you could buy online.

Put it in your cart early and keep checking for the price update. It works for all online stores too.

Came to look for that answer on the boards as well. This is applicable to doorbusters as well too; as far as ordering and the price updating on or around midnight, right? Also, the ad suggested ordering online and picking it up in the store. this sounds like a really great option. so you just print out your receipt and take it into the store...? SuggaD
The price changes earlier than midnight on many items (applies to all stores), which is why some find at midnight that items are sold old. Put in your cart at various stores, then keep checking your cart around 4 pm, and every hour thereafter. Strange, but true. Some doorbusters will be available, but not the hot, hot items.
