Are these decent t.v.s or is this a case of 'you get what you pay for?' It's nice deal, but I've never heard of this brand before. Anyone have any reviews for it?

Dynex is pretty low on the pole of LCD Tv's. IMO it's " You get what you pay for". If you buy something like this... Buy the extended warranty.

ds has a 22" he bought for his room and the picture is very nice, better than our 720p 32". Sound sucks though, but most all flat panels have terrible sound.

Low on the totem pole. Stick with Samsung or LG or be sure and buy and extended warranty.

Just like other cheap brands, all Dynex is is another brand tv with Dynex on it. Plus, they come with a two year warranty. I just bought a 32" Dynex, and it was really a rebranded Samsung for $50 cheaper.
