princesschaos13 Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 I was planning on getting in line at 7. Most of the stuff I want I think shouldn't be a problem, but I NEED that $40 Buzz Lightyear. Do you think 7pm is early enough?
elena_398 Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 I honestly would say be there or at least do a drive by by 5-5:30pm. Be ready though to get out in line if needed.
jodeee Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 bigjim has me in a panic now, lol. I already planned on driving by earlier than my line up time to to see what's up. But now I think I will just stick around after 5. I live less than 10 mins away from my TRU so I have the luxury of going back and forth. I want/need to be one of the first 20 in line for the limited Santa Sing A Ma Jig, and I want to get in and out asap. I don't want to be trapped in TRU's infamous check out line Where did u see the limited edition santa sing a ma jig?? I completely missed that one.
Turner1997 Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 I would have someone watch online as well. I know that some of TRU's deals were available online last year but not sure about the doorbusters...
ytmomof4 Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 walmart always price matches so if you are there and they have it as long as you have the ad with you then you will have no problems.
stacya Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 Someone on here posted that they were told WM would not PM anything on BF...but I don't know where that person was from, or if that's true in all cases... HOWEVER, Target's PM policy SPECIFICALLY STATES they will NOT PM "timed sales," which a 5 a.m. doorbuster would be... OK, so back to the Sing-a-ma-jig...do we have an idea of how many of the limited ones there are per store? I want one, too, but I don't want to have to be at TRU before 8 in order to get it...
wnc_mom Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 Ok just for the record I just realized that Walmart sales start at 12 so maybe that will offset some tru traffic lol
sc98mel Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 Don't know if WalMart has the GI Joe item you're looking for, but they just released a press announcement that they (WalMart) will price match starting Thanksgiving day throughout the weekend. Here's the article: http://abcnews.go.com/Business/wireStory?id=12210787
nick_jenni_jocelyn Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 I have never been to TRU before on BF. The only thing I need this year is the ipod touch with GC for my daughter's bday on sunday. If it openes at 10, I might head up there around 4-5ish. I live 45 minutes from there.

First Lady Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 I have never been to TRU before on BF. The only thing I need this year is the ipod touch with GC for my daughter's bday on sunday. If it openes at 10, I might head up there around 4-5ish. I live 45 minutes from there. That's what I'm heading to TRU for as well. I'm thinking 6 or 7pm to start lining up. I don't know how popular that item will be. I'd also like the singamig thing, but just for fun. My TRU is about 35-40 minutes away. I might do a drive by earlier in the day and hope there is not a huge line!
kelly558 Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 i am going for the buzz too and i have no clue what time to get there
