nat1jen
Anyone know anything about Windows CE? I have never heard of it. It's not a great deal if it won't work properly. Thanks for any help!
dealluvr
Windows CE (also known officially as Windows Embedded Compact or Windows Embedded CE post version 6.0 [2][3], and sometimes abbreviated WinCE) is an operating system developed by Microsoft for minimalistic computers and embedded systems. Windows CE is a distinct operating system and kernel, rather than a trimmed-down version of desktop Windows.[4] It is not to be confused with Windows XP Embedded which is NT-based. this is LIKE the one cvs had only cvs was sylvania.i need something for checking emails in another part ogf the house, possibly at school and prewriting papers.will this be a good thing for what i need it to do? the above in bold print came from wikipedia

laddhorn
I wouldn't suggest a Windows CE computer. It will allow you to get online and check your email and.......yah, that's about it.
teacherbraun
According to the specifications, it only has 64mb of DDR Ram! In this day and age when most computers, including netbooks, have at least 1GB of Ram, this is rather small, which, I believe, means it could run awfully slow.
