NTBoard
My boys REALLY want a Polar Express train (was so sad when my 5 year old said "Maybe THIS is the Polar Express train I asked Santa for" before EVERY present he opened). Anyway, I saw that Walmart has their's on sale for $80 now but would really like to get it for a bit less. I will stop in there as often as I can but if anyone sees the price drop below $80 would you please post so I KNOW to run in on that day?! THANKS SO MUCH for helping me out here! +++POSITIVE THOUGHTS+++!!!Niccole Edited December 27, 2009 by NTBoard Edited my misspelling in the title. Fishboysmom
DH wanted to get that one for ds for Christmas too, but they were sold out. We got this one at JCPenney.com for $69.99 when they had it on their Wednesday deal. They may have it at that price again soon. http://www5.jcpenney.com/jcp/X6.aspx?ItemTyp=C&itemID=16e8a78&GrpTyp=PRD&ShowMenu=T&ShopBy=0&SearchString=LIONEL+TRAIN&RefPage=SearchDepartment.aspx&s4PageSize=15&CmCatId=searchresults&Search1Prod=True http://zoom.jcpenney.com/is/image/0900631b817c3762M.tif?wid=180&hei=180&&op_usm=1.5,.8,0,0&resmode=sharp They are very similar and it might be an option if you can't find the Polar Express. My ds loves it. He even sleeps with the locomotive. LOL!

Joycer425
When I go to my walmart again I will recheck. I remember seeing a lionel train set today marked down to $40.00 but I am not sure if it was polar express. It caught my eye because it was on a display shelf in the middle of the main aisle but wasn't something I was interested in so I didn't really check it out. NTBoard
Hubby went ahead & paid $80 at Walmart today. When he couldn't find the trains he found someone who knew what was going on... they were all loaded up on a pallet in back to be shipped back and were not going to be priced any lower. My boys will be VERY excited but I think we will set it up to make sure it's working well & then pack it back up to take out again next Christmas. Maybe we can get tracks for it so we can have it around the Christmas Tree next year. Thanks for the help Gottadealers! Niccole
