civiclover88
I just ordered one online with the store pickup. I had a problem with my printer. It took about ten minutes for me to fix my printer's issues. Lowe's had already called me confirming that they had fulfilled the order and it was ready for pick-up.An awesome set for an awesome price. According to the sales clerk I was talking to about replacement batteries for this set, he stated that "the battery is supposed to go on sale to 20 bucks tomorrow, the 17th". I don't know if its true, but if it is, then I'm going to get that too! Edited December 16, 2009 by civiclover88 spelling mistake
ourhappyfamily4
don't forget to stop by your local post office and pick up a movers guide kit and use the 10 % coupon in there for lowes when you pick up your item at the store.
Guiou1
Cool! What a great buy. Hope the battery lasts longer than the old drill dh had. Thanks!

Chris77
I was at Loews today for some stuff and I saw this kits, I thought it was a mistake. It's a great deal, I looked at the display products and they are pretty solid. It's a good deal at twice the price.
peppysfireball
My husband agrees with it being junk and he's an expert. He's a 25 year union carpenter. He is foreman. He says Skil is basically a better quality than black and decker which he abhors, but still just an average person brand. He uses Dewalt or Bosch usually. Chad88TC
Well, I can tell you that my 14.4v Skil has out lasted my high dollar 14.4v Dewalt by a long shot. I use the Skil a heck of a lot more, than I ever did the Dewalt! Debating on upgrading to the 18v.
civiclover88
For 39 dollars, I don't care if they fall apart after a year. It would STILL be a good deal. And peppysfireball, Skil is owned and manufactured by Bosch. I know because I contacted Skil about a tool I already own.
heather.elliott
If your local post office does not have the movers pack. You can sign up for one on the lowe's site. Then when you get the coupon take it and your receipt back to the store and they will give you the 10% discount.
Dust N Bones
For those who say it's junk please keep in mind that with power tools there is a very big difference between using them all day 5 days a week & occasionally using them for projects around the home. I have had no problems with my Skil power tool set that I bought almost 8 years ago. Even the batteries work as well as they did when it was brand new. MsChrissyGil
Does it come with a bag or box to store the tools? I bought one for my dad, but had to have my mom pick up, since I live in a different state from them, so I have no idea what it comes in.
civiclover88
It comes in a box. It will show the four power tools on the package. It does have some weight to the box, just to let you know. Lowe's pick up from store option was VERY efficient, so your mom should have no problems.
