If you're asking for the best price, then the answer is they don't really go on sale. Sometimes you can find them with free gift cards for iTunes or the store you've purchased it at. Other than that, nothing really. If you don't mind it being used, you can probably go on craigslist.org and find them in your area.

Go for the refurb straight from apple. You will save money and still get a full warranty. From what I have heard refurbs tend to be better than new because they are tested looked over thoroughly before being resold. Not like a new one that goes down an assembly line and maybe tested for a second. I have a nano 3rd gen 8gb black (impossible color to find in the 3rd gen) and have never had a problem. Just bought my son a nano 4th gen 8gb for $99 with free shipping. You can't even tell they are refurbs. New outer shell, box and all new accessories.

Thanks Monstermile! I am going to check those out. There is only a slight problem and that is the fact that I live in Canada (so S&H will be out of this world :cheesy::cheesy:). I frequent the US to shop every now and then, so that is why I am asking.

And one more question. What is the difference between an IPOD and an 8GB MP3 Player (with a display screen)...

thanks again!>

the basic difference is the brand name. Generally you will pay more for the brand name of Apple.

Can you see what the Walmart deal would be in Canada? See my post a few posts up!
