Just tried to order this, this morning, said it was in stock. Got an email item not found at store. I had paid via paypal of which they went ahead and charged my account and so I had to call in to have them credit my card back. Called...message states 20 minute wait for CS ...I wait....60 MINUTES later....a CS agent ...at this point I am NOT HAPPY... while on hold I have checked in the mean time pretty much EVERY STORE in the state of Missouri no-one has it in stock...the CS agent is not nice(no sorry for the inconvienence..nothing) and when I ask for her name she tells me that basically she can't be tracked as there are several CS centers in the U.S. :eek: >>>I ASK TO SPEAK TO A SUPERVISOR.....he says he apologizes my money has been refunded and he will take care of the CS agent situation...:rolleyes:CAN'T SAY THAT I WILL EVER DO THE IN-STORE PICKUP EVER AGAIN WITH BEST BUY.:mad:

 

Why would they put something on sale that is not in stock online nor do any of their stores within at least my state even have in stock?

 

UUUUGGGGHHHHH SOOOOO FRUSTRATED!!!

WoW....seems like a lot of people are having bad experiences with best buy :no: Think we have to stop shopping there!

 

Good thing is you have all week to get it priced match for there price!! :yup:

Holy Cow where do you live??? You dont have a Walmart or Target by you either, they can price match!

Yes. I was happy as I was upset I didn't get it for around $40 on BF at Amazon. It was oos and jumped to around $70 when I had it in my cart.

Sooooo happy to get a good deal on it on CM as I didn't actually need it until the 26th!

I went to our local Best Buy and they said they were out. :( But after walking around the store for a few minutes looking for something else to buy, someone must have changed their mind and just sat it down on a shelf! Glad they changed their mind! ;)

I don't like the B&M store but have had nothing but great luck on-line.

I got free shipping on CM so it was hard to beat shopping from the comfort of my computer chair :)

I went to Best Buy and the computer showed two in stock. The girl looked for about 60 seconds and said "sorry, I can't find them". I figured no biggie I would price match at Walmart or Target.

 

None at our one Target.

 

None at our Five Walmarts.

This is part of why I was so upset this is a "hotter" gift this year and has become hard to even find let alone get on sale. It made no sense to me that Best Buy would put a product in it's sale ad and then not have any for it's customers.:confused:

 

Could you imagine if this was Zhu Zhu Pets and TRU had put an ad out saying that they had them for sale for $5 and then had no stock to fulfill the ad???:eek:

 

CRAZY!!!

I purchased this game at the Target in Annapolis, MD last week and they had plenty in the case. I paid 49.99 for it - which I am not happy about! I am going back today w/ a printed out copy of this BB ad to see if they will give me credit for it!

Whew! I am SO glad I grabbed this when Amazon had them marked down to $29.99! I had no idea that it would be so difficult to find, although I did notice the last time I was at WM that there were none left... it looked like the only video game that they were sold out of.

 

Geesh! I just looked on Amazon and it said other sellers from $2.00. I knew something was up... but the $2.00 listing had a website to go to and see a picture of the item... then it says something like "The contents of this website are locked. Complete an offer from our sponsor to unlock it." Yeah right, nice scam. *Off to report to Amazon* Hopefully no one has fallen for anything...

Found it at the 3rd Wal-Mart yesterday. Showed the cashier the Best Buy ad for price match and she didn't look real happy. Never said a word to me, nothing. I thought, what the he!! is your problem, it's not coming out of your paycheck!

I thought that behavior was only in NJ...LoL I hate when they act like that :fluffy::splat:
