tasmo2 Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 This is my first deal post, so I hope that im doing it right if not feel free to edit or move! Amazon has mens titanium rings starting at 9.99 http://www.amazon.com/s/qid=1260413817/ref=sr_gnr_fkmr1?ie=UTF8&node=3367581&search-alias=jewelry&field-keywords=New%20Titanium%20Ring
DylansMom Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 I am having my fiance go to a jewelry stor tomorrow to get sized. This price is WAY too good to pass up!!
stacy0479 Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 Man, if only my DF was here to get sized! I need to get him a ring, we are planning a JOP wedding in January!!!
MidwestMama Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 My husband got a titanium ring when we got married 9 years ago. It definately wasn't $9.99!!! It is still in perfect mint condition, not a hint of wear, no nicks etc... One thing to keep in mind, they aren't sizable, so you want it to really fit right. Maybe I should pick him up an extra in other sizes! LOL

I can always pawn the ones that dont fit or something! :)
moonvine Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 Are these only for weddings? I just picked some up for a charity auction we are planning. Be warned the shipping is a bit high.
pinktink69 Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 I didn't see any for the 9.99. But 14.99 isn't bad either!
stacy0479 Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 So I would like to get one for DF but he is deployed right now and I would like to get it for him for Christmas. I don't know what size he is but I found his high school ring and it is in between a 13 and 14. That is from 10 years ago. Can these be resized? It is only a temporary ring until we have our bigger wedding 2 years or so from now. Any help would be appreciated. And if I get, say a 14, and it is too big or too small, can I return it or exchange it for a different size?
stacy0479 Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 Ah the prices changed! Darn it!! Well I will keep looking, the prices still aren't that bad!
tasmo2 Posted December 10, 2009 Author Posted December 10, 2009 I checked the reviews of the comp on amazon and it said that they are GREAT with exchanges due to size. I printed out the ring sizer sheet and used dh's old wedding band to choose the size of his. He is a drummer, and anyone who has a drummer dh knows that when you buy a sterling silver wedding band it has dents in it the first week. LOL Im hoping this one won't dent so easily!
amy0807 Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 Thank you, thank you, thank you! I have been looking all over for a size 14 band for dh.
stacy0479 Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 Well I ended up just going with it. I didn't get the Titanium one, but a Tungsten one which is what he wanted. It ended up his high school ring measured a 10, and since that was 10 years ago, I ordered him a 10.5 since it is a custom fit ring. The place I ordered it through was some place called Sophia something and they do 1 free exchange within 30 days, so if it doesn't work, I will take advantage of that. $37 after taxes and shipping. Not bad!!! I just hope it gets here before Christmas. I want to give it to him on Christmas Eve.
wjlambert4 Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 I ordered my husband one. He lost his in Iraq last year. I'm giving it to him as a Christmas present, I really hope that he likes it! Great find OP!
moej Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 great find...this is not available for prime but still a great deal, I am in for 1
msvagardener Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 Using that link some of the prices are even lower now.
mom-99 Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 Thank you so much! My dh's ring was damaged and then lost and it hasn't been a financial priority to get a new one. This is a great find!
dreamer11 Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 UGH im pretty sure my husbands is a 8.5 but i could only find his old high school ring and it looks like an 8 but im pretty sure its .5 and they dont have a 9 in the one i want. He lost his white gold ring on the beach last year and we replaced it with a random one.. id love to surprise him... it looks just like it but in titanium.

I was able to get a Tungsten ring for about $40 after tax and shipping.
dreamer11 Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 thanks. The one i want is still $54.99 . I thought for $9 wow, i can surprise him... he has one but its just a plain old band
DealDoug Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 They are back to 9.99, some are even 8.84 right now. If the price flips back up again, I'd advise staying up tomorrow night until midnight or 1:00 AM EDT and seeing if the price again goes back to these bargain prices temporarily. Note that the shipping looks to be about $9 a ring when I put a couple in my cart. In the link in the first post, a few rings have reviews under them - not many, but worth reading IMO.
DealDoug Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 Also, not all sizes were available for each ring. And I didn't see half sizes available for any ring that I looked at.
DealDoug Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 I found a good ring sizer at the below link. Be sure to disable any page scaling when you print it. Using an existing ring to measure against the sheet looks like the best way to be sure of your size. http: //lib.store.yahoo.net/lib/jewelbasket/ring-size-actual-chart .pdf
DealDoug Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 P.S. - remove the spaces after http: and before .pdf in the ring sizer link above.

wjlambert4 Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 I looked at some titantium rings at Kohl's last night, the cheapest one they had was still over $80 on sale, so I'm extremely happy that I ordered one from Amazon. Got an email yesterday that it has already shipped! Will make another post after I receive it to review if I like it or not, hope I do!
mbhferrer Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 Got 4 rings for $38. It was 68 with shipping but I can sell one and make that $ and more!!!!
stacy0479 Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 I got the ring in todays mail. I think it is going to be too small, but I could be wrong. At least I can return it and get the right size. But that will have to wait until he gets home, hopefully soon.
magickallight Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 They actually had a hugh price mistake a few days before this post - but it was caught and so I didn't have time to post it... got one for $2.99 + shipping - came out to a little over $10 shipped - it has already arrived and is quite nice for the price! :)
mbhferrer Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 I am worried about the sizing now. I printed out their sizing chart (making sure it wasn't resized to fit the page) and it said I wear a 9. My mom has bet me a lot of $ that the szing chart is wrong. She says I wear a 7. My thinking is that if their chart says I wear a 9, I should get a 9. Any thoughts?
