I actually got a code (no reference to a gift card). It came with the Restaurant.com confirmation page. All I did was put in the code PRESENT and got the red envelope code automatically. I hope this answers your question.

I tried to use the Red Envelope code I got from my Restaurant.com purchase but got an error message saying the code was invalid?!?
