BobbyDouglas Posted August 12, 2005 Posted August 12, 2005 Can anyone suggest a place to find a usb printer cable for the Brother MFC-420CN All-In-1 Machine? http://www.officemax.com/max/solutions/product/prodBlock.jsp?prodBlockOID=537387644
RossMAN Posted August 13, 2005 Posted August 13, 2005 Fry's B&M sells USB cables for like $2.99 or cheaper. That's all you need. Or you can go to a computer/office store and pay retail $19.99+ for a USB cable.
BobbyDouglas Posted August 13, 2005 Author Posted August 13, 2005 They charge $7 to ship it I found it on newegg for around $7 shipped http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16812116105
Mike Posted August 13, 2005 Posted August 13, 2005 oh, I keep forgetting about shipping. Local company for me so I just go pick up.
BobbyDouglas Posted August 13, 2005 Author Posted August 13, 2005 I am going to think about what else I need, then most likely head over to Best Buy if they are having a sale, I gotta use up some coupons! If they are too expensive I will just head over to Fry's Electronics, or try newegg if I can combine some stuff to save money.
Mike Posted August 13, 2005 Posted August 13, 2005 Best Buy/Circuit City will charge $30 for a standard USB cable...even with coupons its a horrible deal.
stingygrrl Posted August 13, 2005 Posted August 13, 2005 if you don't have a fry's near you, you can get them here for $2, shipped
biomajor Posted August 13, 2005 Posted August 13, 2005 Wal Mart has one for about $6 and Sam's club has a 2 pack for about $10--no shipping, just tax
RossMAN Posted August 13, 2005 Posted August 13, 2005 if you don't have a fry's near you, you can get them here for $2, shippedHe does have a Fry's nearby :)
BobbyDouglas Posted August 14, 2005 Author Posted August 14, 2005 I'd spend more than $2 to gas. Great find stingygrrl Anyone know what "USPS Mail" means for shipping? I am wondering how long it would take to ship, but plain "Mail" isn't listed http://www.usps.com/consumers/domestic.htm
Mike Posted August 15, 2005 Posted August 15, 2005 It probably means parcel post, maybe 1st class if you're lucky.
BobbyDouglas Posted August 15, 2005 Author Posted August 15, 2005 Seems like others complained about the shipping taking 9 days, but for $2 per cable, I could care less if it took 10 lol. I'm so freakin lazy.
stingygrrl Posted August 15, 2005 Posted August 15, 2005 He does have a Fry's nearby :)maybe others reading this thread don't
