RossMAN Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005 Great deal! Can tivo basic service be upgraded at a later time to their regular package? -StevenAs Jared already stated yes it can. Here is difference between Tivo Basic and Tivo Plus.
ihsteven Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005 beatmix01 and Ross, Thanks very much for your help, as I ordered the unit :) -Steven
RossMAN Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005 Steven, If you plan on upgrading the hard drive, here is a very helpful thread.
ihsteven Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 Well I have to say my experience with Overstock was not good at all. I ordered the unit on the 9th and today I received a shipment. It contained a Toshiba Portable DVD player. I ordered a TIVO, not a portable DVD player. The Tivo is sold out now, and I won't get a refund on my card until this portable dvd player is returned.. They didn't offer to do anything for me, nor even apologize for the error. -Steven
