poodleskirts Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 This will be my first year at Kohls on Black Friday, but they have a few things I've been dying to get so I'm making the trek this year. How early do lines usually start there? If anyone is from the far north Chicago suburbs, that will help especially. :) Thanks!
Svuroo Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 I'm from around there and also wondering. I don't want anything badly enough to get there at 4 am. I'm aiming for big ticket items from 4-6. I'm assuming I'll be ok rolling into Kohl's at 7ish. I just want a rug and to take advantage of the gift cert deal. If I need to I suppose I can get someone to watch my place in another line for a bit, but I feel stupid running for domestics at 4 am.
AMiklosovic Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 At my kohls last year (cleveland area) I shopped at around 7-7:30 and it was not bad at all like a lot of people say. I probably had a 15 minute wait in line. I think if you aren't going to Kohls for a really great priced item that everyone will grab quickly (like the small electrics on sale for $9.99 and $19.99 AFTER the rebate, and the GPS and toys) then I think you will be fine going to kohls a few hours after they've opened.
1josh Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 I live in NJ and I went to Kohls last year for the first time on BF. I got there at 4:50 am. There were like 70 people in front of me. Doors opened at 5am and I was in right away. I think that my BF experience at Kohls has been the best.
