countingcrow Posted November 19, 2009 Share Posted November 19, 2009 If you absolutely must have good picture quality and need the few extra connections other brands include, then the Emerson might not be right for you. If you just want a tv for the bedroom, and don't plan to watch much high def tv or bluray movies on it, then the tv should be perfect. There is probably a higher fail rate chance on it compared to the name brands, but probably not much worse. If you do want great color and detail, and love to play lots of high def content and games, the Samsung 32" B360 should be dropping to $399 or less soon, and the Sony 32" in the Walmart ad for $398. emilygracesmom Posted November 19, 2009 Share Posted November 19, 2009 Hello fellow Mountaineer!! I bought my Vizio 32" at Walmart late spring for $350. I love my Vizio and if you've got the means, I would definitely recommend going with a better brand. Anything I've ever owned (cd players, vcr, and tv) that had emerson anywhere on it has been crap.
