Ladybugpicnic Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 My local news just said there was a leak that they Mart that is Wal is going to have $3 appliances for BF. Anyone else hear this? I wouldn't go to that particular store if you paid me, but just curious. Or nosey...
Brad Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 That was Target that has them (although Walmart usually has a similar grouping of appliances for $4-5 every year in their ad).
Ladybugpicnic Posted November 16, 2009 Author Posted November 16, 2009 Ooooohhh...even better! The Targets by me are (reportedly) always EMPTY. I hate to go out with a 3 month old but with that said...I'm poor. LOL
Brad Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 here is that part of the ad: http://blackfriday.gottadeal.com/images/items/r20091111082236.jpg
amyaj Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 I really need a cheap toaster oven for crafting.
Ladybugpicnic Posted November 16, 2009 Author Posted November 16, 2009 OMG That little sandwich maker is the best!!!! When I was young and much poorer than I am now, I used that thing so much I wore it out!!! YAY!
lelee24 Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 I've just got to know...what kind of crafting uses a toaster? Can you tell I'm not crafty in the least!

rogue1230 Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 For Lady and Lee lee..... there are clays and plastics that sometime require heat to set, so having a small toaster over rather than firing up your real one is better.
cassgurlie04 Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 For Lady and Lee lee..... there are clays and plastics that sometime require heat to set, so having a small toaster over rather than firing up your real one is better.u put clay in the toaster?
jerica388 Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 toaster OVEN:) I do this in the summertime. It keeps me from having to heat up the whole house by turning on the big oven. I used to have one of those sandwhich thingies and I loved it! I bet my 10 year old would get a lot of use out of it actually...
amyaj Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 I've just got to know...what kind of crafting uses a toaster? Can you tell I'm not crafty in the least! You guys made me really LOL! I've been making these little scrabble tile pendants (jewelry) which are scrabble tiles with pretty paper decoupaged over them. Then you put a thick glaze on the top. It takes awhile for them to dry out, but I've read online that putting them in a toaster oven for a few minutes dries them up fast.
