you need to warm the contents up on the stove or microwave, the candle is only goin to keep it so warm

It comes with 4 sticks and warms by tea light candle. Chocolate is melted before adding to pot. HTH

it comes with four sticks and and cookbook with recipies for the fondue it's pretty easy to make.
