deal for a television set

what is the best TV I can get for under 200 dollars? If I need to go over, then I guess, I can, but I really really dont want to go over 275 to 300.

 

I'm looking for something that will fit my price range and have reasonable size and picture quality. If possible, I prefer a "flat" and not a tube-like style.

 

Im not a hardcore movie, picture/audio guru, but just need something that looks good and....looks good....:)

 

I currently own a 1991 sanyo tv, so anything would be an improvement...

Toshiba 27"

 

That one is a little over your price, but Toshiba makes great TVs. Better than Sony, IMO.

 

Otherwise, you can get a 25-27" RCA or Phillips just about anywhere for $150-$200. If you aren't real picky about what you get, just go to Target or Walmart and stand in from of them. Pick out the one you like the picture and sound on and go for it.

I will add another vote for picking one up at Walmart. Last January, my 12 year old 25" JVC went poof, and I was able to pick up a 27" Apex with full stereo sound, multiple connections, etc for about $139.99.
