wnielsen1 Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 Selected games only (but the selection is somewhat large). Better than TRU for me as it included free shipping and no tax. Add 3 video games and the lowest price item will be deducted during checkout (you need to go to the last page of checkout to confirm that you are getting the deal). http://www.amazon.com/b/ref=amb_link_85724991_4?ie=UTF8&node=573890&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-1&pf_rd_r=0JEC7QEEB6ZNBKMABY5J&pf_rd_t=1401&pf_rd_p=494513071&pf_rd_i=1000436751 From the link, click on any game and look for the "3 for 2 deal on the page." This will tell you if the game qualifies. I ordered 3 of the same game and had no issues.
cchance Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 Thanks! I wrapped up dd's shopping with some DS games.
DramaQueenLucy Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 Picked up 3 games and am thinking about getting 3 more only a few things left on my Christmas list after this...
No1Slacker Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 Thanks...I didn't take advantage of the deal, but I did order "Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box" for myself......lol.
satidwell Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 Thanks so much op and your right this is a better deal then toys r us
ratlenhum Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 I got 6 games. I ordered 3 under my name and 3 under my mom's LOL. If I had ordered all 6 together I would have gotten 2 $19.99 games free. The way I split it, I got a $27.99 and a $19.99 game free
Shortness Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 The three games I picked each said 3 for 2 on the page when I clicked on the game, but when I go to checkout, it is charging me for all three and not mentioning the special. Does it do it at the very end? In the past, it has reflected any special before I selected my charge card.

sf49erfreak Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 i noticed that if i had two games in my cart that were amazon and then one that was some other company fulfilled by amazon it wouldnt show a discount but if all three were amazon it did.
jdrd90 Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 I have three qualifying games in my cart too but it is not taking off the price of the third.
racerfan Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 It shows up on the last page before you order, on the top right of the page. It is where it tells you when to expect delivery and your payment info. I have three qualifying games in my cart too but it is not taking off the price of the third.
jdrd90 Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 I'm on the page where you "click to place order" but it still charges me for all three games. I have done this deal before but never had this problem.
jdrd90 Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 (edited) I see what I have done, one of the games isn't actually through Amazon. I guess that is the problem. That shouldn't stop it though, it is listed as one of the 2 for 3 games. Ugh, maybe I should just see this as a sign I shouldn't buy them lol. Okay, I got it to work lol. I found the game sold by Amazon and it worked. I knew I wouldn't sleep until I got it lol. Edited October 15, 2009 by jdrd90
DramaQueenLucy Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 I had to call amazon but they did fix my order and I got 3 games for $94.00 and free 2 day shipping with Prime :)
