  1. Just wanted to second the suggestion of checking the sporting good area for the BTS Thermos containers(75% off or $3.98). At first glance it's hard to tell them apart other than the bar codes, but then I realized how to do it. The BTS ones had little plastic hangers on both the drink Thermos and the food container Thermos. If you are in FW, Indiana you can check the NE (Stellhorn) or Jeff Point store. At Jeff Point(on Tuesday) there were still a bunch in the sporting good section and I got the last one at Glenbrook.
  2. I also got the $5 off $25 and coupons in a mailer today. Our new store opens the 12th also (in Fort Wayne).

Target Southwest is actually open now(soft opening). We were in Wednesday night and it was packed. I was digging the new carts, they drove like a dream :D I'm probably too far away (I live way up in NW FW, probably to far away to get an opening flyer, but did spy another gal who looked like she had some kind of flyer/coupon).

  3. Found the last Playdoh caddy at the Stellhorn (Fort Wayne, In) store for 4.74. I was by the Glenbrook store and scored 2 MM Fruit Punch! I was so excited, it's my favorite...I mean, my kids' favorite flavor ;)

I wish I had gotten to the Glenbrook store sooner though. The tag for the Playdoh caddy said it was just under $2, but none on the shelves and none in back (according to the scanner).

  4. You can get some good deals if the stuff is on sale and you stack manu and store coupons. That's what I did today. I got 3 Dove deoderants, Oil of Olay night firming cream and Tom's of Main toothpastes (2 packs) all for around $28 after sales and coupons.

Our clearance was not really exciting. Mostly just random stuff not worht mentioning.

  5. Are you sure? My nephew is deathly allergic to peanuts and this was one place his DR recommended because they don't use peanut oil. My son also has a peanut allergy and he eats chicken nuggets from Chik Fil A with no problem.

CFA most definately uses peanut oil. Says so right on their website. My son's allergist mentioned CFA as a special note when we found out our son was allergic to peanuts. Her statement was that they use a refined peanut oil which would have minimal peanut protien in it. That said, I know other peanut allergic kids who have had reactions from the peanut oil at CFA. YMMV.

Our DS does not eat at CFA. And boy, do I miss it!

  6. Does anyone know if we will have to use our card for each purchase? Last year I never gave them my card to record each purchase. I guess it was setup under my phone number. I was shocked when I received the coupon in November.

I was told the only way I'd get points was to use my card. I often forgot and just barely managed to remember enough to get one $10 coupon.

I got a new card the other day and made sure to sign up for the extra 10 points! I think having the card on my keyring might help me remember a bit more.
