  1. Michaels crafts has the Rainbow Loom here in CT and they had plenty. I think it was 16.95 and I would assume you could use the 40% off coupon they always have. My 12yo loves it too!

The Rainbow Looms are excluded from the 40% off.  I've seen explanations on why from the RL folks, has to do with being fair to all vendors who sell it (smaller retailers got RL out there and now to put it in a store that offers a huge discount would leech business away from the smaller/local stores that gave it it's start).  I've been told TRU sells a knock-off version for cheaper but that the RL allows you to do something the knock-off doesn't.  Our RL is still in hiding for DD's b-day so I haven't played with it yet.

  2. If this is your only store or the store you frequent and you want to see them follow Target's correct policies, contacting corporate (email or phone) might be the only way to get them to correct their rouge coupon policy. Good luck!

I agree that it's time for a call to corporate. I have a hard time believing this is "policy" since Target.com has a special banner for Bullseye Bodega coupons under their coupon section.

  3. I was at Glenbrook at 8:03 and was basically "late" but I got just about everything I wanted anyway. I knew Stellhorn wouldn't have anything so I high-tailed it to Jefferson Pointe and picked up the rest of the things I wanted.

I feel sorry for those people who can't be there right at opening-you really don't get much of a chance of you're not.

ETA: Funny that things were cheaper at the Orchard Crossing (original price and 75% off) store!

We probably walked right past each other, I started at Glenbrook, but was done by 8:15. Headed to Jeff Pt and snagged a few more Legos and finished off at Stellhorn (where I did my non-Lego shopping, Legos were main priority). Stellhorn was the most picked over by far(as always), but still found a few little things for my DD. Like a big gaudy "diamond" ring to finish off her bridal apparel for Halloween :P

  4. I would have pushed it...I agree if the boxes were on the shelf, they are fair game!! That whole story they gave you sounds fishy. If they were in fact "in the process" of being purchased, the boxes would have been removed from the shelf & been behind the electronics counter.

They were floor models, not in boxes. They needed to be dismounted from the wall. For a 55" tv, it's going to take two people and some time. And I, for one, believe that they won't finish the sale until all the parts have been compiled, people would get pissed if they bought it and found not all the pieces were available. The OP has no right to complain because she doesn't know that the employees broke any rules.

  5. My mom had the free Senseo too. She bought a Keurig over the summer and loves it. She got it at Kohl's with a 30% off coupon and also stocks up on the cups when she gets the 30% coupons too. She's also has the thing to make her own K-cups as well. The variety for the Keurig is much better than the Senseo (at least for what she was ever able to find). (And the red mini is so cute, that's the one she has!).
  6. Last night I was at one of my local Targets and the bookbags were completely gone! Friday night they had a big wall with prices anywhere from regular to 50% off. I looked around a bit and couldn't find them. Not with the regular backpacks, not with BTS, not on endcaps. So the only thing I can figure is that they salvaged them yesterday. Glad I bought at 50% off on Friday! Our schools started back anywhere from August 12-26. Other school supplies are regular to 30% off. Lunch bags and food containers were gone too, but my stores didn't stock a ton this year and seemed to sell quickly.

I'm hoping to get to another Target today to see what's going on there, but as of Saturday they only had one very small section that had a few bookbags reg to 30% off.

  7. Thought I'd post a hidden Easter find. There were some Easter Skyballs that have made it into the regular toy section. There are two different kinds that I found. One type has a liquid inside and Easter Confetti type shapes (think eggs and bunnies). The others do not have the liquid but still have the confetti inside. They were with in the toy section with the other sky balls, by the outside toys. Normally $8.99, my stores had 90% off so $0.89. There are non easter ones too, so make sure they have the Easter confetti inside.

    Victoria Hagan Bowl

I've been watching this for weeks hoping it might get marked down. It went stright from 30% to 75%! I had a couple of gals chuckling at me I was so excited lol The DCPI they show online is different than the one on the bowl label. The one I listed seems to be correct for the one for the store though, it's on the actual item label, clearance sticker and reciept.
