Great! Thank you so, so much! No, all of our stores went 90% off the same day. I will say though, 2 of our stores are Super Targets and then we have 3 others that are just regular stores. The smaller stores (at least in our area) tend to send things to salvage before the larger stores do. I'm not sure why this is though.

I know this is a longshot but I am hoping that one (or more) of you can help me. I totally dropped the ball and I am a bad mom
I know it may seem ridiculous but if anyone bought any of the packages of rainbow glitter party hats by Spritz when they went clearance, can I please, please, please buy them from you? I will pay for the hats and shipping via paypal. They are seriously the ONE thing my son asked for his birthday party. He is turning 3 and we are doing a silly monster theme and he actually said to me (after I suggested it) "mama, that would be so awesome if we put google eyes on the party hats for my party" Seriously, every single time we saw those hats in the store, he would ask me if that was the day we were going to "take them home and glue google eyes on them" I had no idea they would be clearanced so quickly. Just for reference, in all the stores I went to, they were always on an endcap near party and displayed with a bunch of other rainbow themed party goods. They come in a package of 6 and there is a red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple hat in the package. They were originally $4.99 and marked down to $1.48. I am willing to pay more than the 70% off price!! DCPI is 053 00 0008. I am seriously begging - please, please help!!! -
I went into target at 4:15pm and they were marking down health and beauty. The Chi hair straightener was still marked 50% off so I scanned it and still 50%. I asked the lady if it was going to be marked down today. She scanned it and said yes, it will be 70% off for $30. She went ahead and marked them down for me so I got one. Now I've got a problem, I've torn the house, my car and my purse apart trying to find my receipt for the 50% purchase price. I cannot find it!! Someone please tell me I'm not out of luck!! I used my Redcard. If I return it would I get my $50 back or only the $30???
At my store, if you tell CS a date you purchased an item, they will match it up for you. BUT, I don't think they have to do this so YMMV.

The markdown team was working their way through the section near Valentine's Day. I didn't hang around long enough to see what all was being marked but I noticed all the kitchen gadgets like whisks, measuring spoons, etc in bright colors were marked and they were starting on the food items. I apologize I don't know what this section is called but it is right where all the outdoor/patio stuff will go for the summer.

just got back from farmington hills, mi target and got the 10x10 coleman canopy for $44 and a soluna shelter reg 69.99 for 20.98. they had ripstick dxl for 32.99, also croquet sets for 12.48 (reg 39.99) plus lots of other outdoor games for under ten, and a couple 6 person tents for 26.98.
Do you have the dcpi for Coleman canopy by chance?

I do see a time UNDER the 100% claimed, on SOME items, a time listed...obviously it isn't the time until it goes live, because it already did, and it is 100% claimed,
For instance your MEGA blocks says waitlist full and 100% claimed but there is a clock under there that says 1 hr 7 min... does that maybe mean you will know by 1 hr and 7 min if you have it/if the waitlist worked? I think maybe it is an indicator...
Haha, I hope I get "yours" too! The clock that you are talking about is a countdown clock indicating how long there is until that deal is over. So, in this case, I will definitely know for sure that I am not going to get it pretty soon now. It's not a big deal though, ds certainly isn't hurting for toys this year lol.

All of my stores (Birmingham, AL) had markdown teams working the school supplies today. Only a few Crayola items were being marked though so I am guessing the others will be returned to normal stock. In addition to the already reported backpacks and lunch boxes, they were marking down scissors, Elmer's glue and glue sticks, erasers, rulers, pens, pencils, folders, binders, and pencil cases. That's all I can remember for now. Also, just for point of reference, schools started back on August 20 - statewide.

So excited! I found one of these tonight for my little boy in electronics where you said it was! I was really surprised to find the one and only one my store has (in blue) since I checked online for them when you originally posted it and the website says that they are an online only item. Thank you so much for the great tip - I often forget to check electronics

I got a 32 piece bar set (glasses, mixers, shots ,ect) for 8.98!!! The exact same martini glasses, it comes with 4 was sold in a 4 pack for 9.98....I was thrilled.

My girls were both just over 6lbs at birth. I doubt this baby will be much bigger. I just got 2 boxes of newborn and only opened 1 box just in case. Too me it seemed like they wore newborn and 1's forever but I can't remember because my "baby" (for a few more weeks till this one gets here) is 7.
It definitely depends on the baby. My son was born at 6.9 and wore nb size for a good 2 months. We actually had to downgrade him to preemie size for the first two weeks. But then he was in size 1 until he was 4 months old. Good luck and congratulations on your new bundle of joy!

Toys were 70% off at the Shawnee Mission Pkwy/Metcalf store this morning. Already marked down when the store opened! One aisle consolodated and the rest shoved on endcaps. However, Legos (and there are a TON of them) are only 50% off. Boo!
I mostly picked up some small things...teacup piggies, those little stuffed animals, a Leapster game, and my big purchase was the 2011 Holiday Barbie. I got most of what I really wanted/needed last week.
A few things I saw but did not get:
Tons of baby dolls, play kitchens of all shapes and sizes, big Matchbox airplane sets, tons of Little People sets (including a few nativity sets)...there was a ton of stuff.
Most coats were 70% off there, but snow pants were still 30% off.
I would LOVE to find one of the little people nativity sets. My store had them 2 days before Christmas but I haven't seen any sign of them since. I'm stopping by today to scout things out and see if there is anything even worth going back for in the morning since my store typically does toys on Thursdays.

I don't have the extra gas to go to the store tonight and it not be 90% off and I have to be out there near it tomorrow anyway, but it's killing me to not go check my store right. now. I am hoping it will just be going 90% off in the morning when I get there. I console myself with the fact that there was a LOT of stuff left when I went earlier this week and that will keep it 70% until tomorrow. *fingers crossed*
If it helps, the store in Alabaster, Bessemer, and Hoover were all still at 70% today so I doubt your store went to 90%.

ok still 70% off, really don't think we have the scotch tape or scissors, I found the ones that are red and teal but they are $5, no sticker on barcode.....we still have three or four aisle full of stuff
I found 2 pairs of the scissors in one of my stores (Alabaster, AL). They were on the rack where scissors normally are. There were 8 pairs on the rack but only two scanned as clearance. If you look at the barcode, the ones that start with 5114 are clearanced and the ones that ring up as $5 start with 5113. All 8 pairs were either teal or red and have the exact same packaging. The only difference is the barcode number.
The one distiguishing thing I noticed about the tape, at least the ones I found, are that they are in the dispenser that is one sided. The full price ones are in the sturdier two sided plastic dispenser.

The ones that were at my stores before Christmas came with a book. They came in a magnetic closure box that you could open and see the elf sitting behind a clear piece of plastic on the right side of the box. I haven't seen any at any of my stores post Christmas though. As of yesterday all of my stores were still at 50% except for $1 spot.

You can open a chat window with them and talk to them about it. The only chance you stand of them adjusting the price is when the 50% off price is active. They certainly won't do it beforehand or after the sale ends. Still your chances of a price adjustment are slim. If I were you, I'd hang on to them until the 50% offer comes up and rebuy them and return the ones you bought at the higher price. All you are out is return shipping. And by hanging onto them, you are assured that you have them just in case you aren't able to get 2 at 50% off. They limit lightning deals to 1 per person so if you need 2 of an item, then make sure you are logged in twice. Meaning, if we need 2 of something then my husband is logged into his account and I'm on mine. We both hit add to cart as soon as it goes live and then we are each able to get 1.
