The L-Max were on clearance at my Wal-mart for $50 yesterday too. I already bought the Leapster Bundle the week before - but I am happy with my purchase - so I wasn't bummed :) mickey

Thanks for all of the input!! You guys are great!! I bought the Leapster. I didn't spend the extra for the TV, as I don't really think he will use it that way. It is on sale this week at Walmart in a bundle with a case, game and the leapster for $59! The game itself was $17.99 and the case was $15.99 - so I think it was a great deal! My local Walmart didn't have any, so I bought it online with 97¢ shipping. I did buy 2 games at K-mart - the $17.99 ones, to get one at 1/2 price. I wanted the CARS one, but there wasn't a lot of other ones in the $25 category that I wanted. So, I printed off the $5 off coupon from Toys R Us and will use it on the CARS game there. Can anyone tell me the difference between the 2? I have been looking at both online and can't decide which one to get! Which is better for a 5 year old boy? Which do you have? Did you make the right choice? Which has better games? Have you had any problems with yours? My son wants a game-boy, but I don't really want to go that route - so this would be my compromise. We have a 90 mile commute, everyday - so a handheld game would be great!! Any suggestions? Which would be your choice? TIA - mickey

Well - The final 3 I've narrowed it down to are this: Kodak Z700, Kodak Z760 and the Kodak C340. Kodak Z700 K-mart - Tday (no early morning lines! Bonus!) $197 (includes dock, 128 mb memory card & $20 gc) Why? I like the 5x optical zoom. It has 4mp - I would prefer 5mp - but I'll mostly print 4*6 at Sam's - so I think I'm safe. It runs on aa batteries - so no problems there. Kodak Z760 Walmart BF $199 (includes dock) Why? 5 MP. Lower zoom though - 3x optical. Higher internal memory. Larger display. Runs on li-lon batteries (not my preference.) Kodak C340 Kmart - Tday $197 (camera only) Not sure why this seemingly "less" camera is the same price with no bundle? 5MP, 3x optical zoom, aa batteries, 16mb internal. I am thinking my dh would have an "easier" time running this than the z series, and it is smaller. But, since I am the main picture taker, I think I am leaning away from this, even as I type. Right now - I am stuck on the Z700. So, unless I find a reason to change, that is my choice as of today :) Thanks for all the discussion on this thread! mick
