Coupons came in the mail yesterday - the deal on Black Friday is B1G1F on Lattes.
I suppose I'll go check it out - I only have 3 in our town and 1 in an adjacent town's supermarket!

Nice try on the laptops, but supermarkets shouldn't pretend to be computer stores. If the laptops were 199 or 99 that might be worth considering.

A few years ago, Shoprite's special was a DVD/VCR. I went to shoprite on Thanksgiving and noticed them already on display. I was able to get the item at the BF price that day as it was already in the computer!
YMMV - but it did save me a stop that year.

Are there any good deals on batteries (in store or online)? I remember Circuit City had a deal a few years ago for 4.99 on AA batteries and it was online with free shipping. -
In years past we'd get good deals on blanks on BF - often for free.
What are the best deals this year (even online)?

that's just for paramus? i never heard of that. worked in the nj malls for almost 10 years (admittedly it was south jersey)
That's Bergen County's Blue laws - the ones that keep things closed on Sunday.

If your plans involve the Paramus, NJ stores/malls, they have a law that they can not open before 7AM!

How is the Acer LCD monitor? I'm short on desk space (depth wise) and would like a flat panel monitor. How early do you think I'd need to be there - I usually get to my Staples around 5:15-5:30 AM.

Passed the local Dunkin Donuts and saw a badly positioned sign in front. All I could read as I drove by was "Free Latte" and "Black Friday" - anyone else see this?

That 12MP Olympus for $199 looks really good - I have last year's 7MP Olympus special from them and am very happy with it. The only problem (I bought online) was the case and camera shipped seperately and one took forever to come (I forgot which).

On Thursday we ordered a DVD player for my SIL, and my MIL ordered one for herself.
Both arrived by Fedex TODAY! And my SIL's is up and running (I installed it tonight).
I was shocked that both arrived so fast (and it was Fedex ground even).

Probably left for Staples 10-15 minutes earlier. Then I would have gotten to Walgreens for the 10.00 telescope (just missed it!)

Best Walgreens, Target, Gymboree
Worst Staples - they moved all the stuff including DVD burners and hard drives behind a counter and you had to line up there and then again in another line to pay while the 3 registers in the front of the store were empty- because they had "high risk".

Things I missed:
Bluetooth Headset at Compusa
Telescope and razor at Walgreens (because Staples was super slow!)
Candyland game at Target
Women's PJ set at Walmart
Not too bad - got most of the big items :)

I miss the free Batteries circuit city used to have.

My son also loves putting hot wheels/matchboxes down the Fisher Price garage!
He was around 2 when I let him play with them - I had problems with him mouthing 1particular car - a little crane - he liked to put the crane part in his mouth, so I took that one away for a while.

There are 2 Gymboree coupons out. One expires soon, the other (which comes from Simon Malls Santa's expires in December).
