For the ones who love music I'm getting my son who will be 2 12/15 the star station on the go from fisher price.

I was just at the FP website, and no you can't buy them it you don't have the player it says you need the software that comes with it. I looked at that star station on the go at their website and looked to see what cartridges they had and what songs were on them, I really like it! They have lots of good songs on the cartridges and each has 8 songs on them except the one that comes with the player itself I think it only has 3 songs. Thanks for making this thread, it has helped me find a great gift for my son who loves music!

I just was looking at WM's website and seen the Star Station on the go and that seems pretty cool! It's not an mp3 player but there are different clips you can get to put into it with all kinds of different songs on them. The star station itself costs 20.97 and comes with one clip with music on it from kidz bop and headphones.

I thought the same thing for my son who will be 2 soon, but those fisher price ones are expensive. I didn't see any other ones out there that wouldn't be easy to break. Sorry.

I went out for BF in 2004 and I was due Dec 22nd.

Thanks for the idea but that one won't work this year, he doesn't have his own room, he won't have his own room until we move sometime next year. Right now he sleeps in my room.

I'm looking for something that has to do with music for my son he will be 2 right before christmas but does really well with lots of other toys that are geared for older kids. He loves music, dances and sings along to everything. I'm just not sure what to get. Anyone have any good ideas? I'm thinking some type of thing that plays music.

I usually put stuff on layaway so that I don't have to hide it for too long since I don't have any extra storage space. I usually pick up my layaway the week before xmas so I take it to my mom's house and wrap and leave it there until xmas eve.

Thanks for all the ideas! There are a few suggestions I plan on getting. I like the portable dvd player, cheap digi cam, wrestlers, laser tag.

He got some of them last year and rarely plays with them.

Yes, I will probably have to pick up some new wrestling figures, he has some and likes to play with them also. And a wireless controller sounds cool!

Funny you mention a go kart, my DH said something about getting him one, he loves cars and go karts but around here go karts are kind of hard to find unless you buy one from a private seller unless you want to pay massive bucks. Your from NJ aren't ya? If your serious how much do you want for the go kart? And thanks for the portable dvd player idea, I may do that so he can watch his movies when we go on vacation or for other long car rides.

He really will play with any type of action figures. He even likes polly pocket lol. Maybe I'll just get some polly pockets, and some more action figures, I found 4 action figures with accessories and a DVD movie with them at Target the other day for 1.98 woohoo.

I realize he has plenty, and I know some people would think I am crazy. But Christmas is the one time of year I go all out and make it a big christmas just like I had as a child.

I need some help on ideas for xmas gifts for my 7 yr old, he is actually more like a teenager lol he doesn't tend to like gifts geared toward his age range. I would say the age range being from 9 and up are more his taste. I can't think of hardly anything to get him this year he has so much. So far I have gotten him a couple videos for the video now that he has, a few action figures, a video game, a couple dvds, the rock monsterz hand held thingy, cube world thing. He already has a gameboy sp, a nintendo ds, a ps2, a mp3 player, a tv, a dvd player. Do you think he is spoiled?

All 3 local kmarts here have layaway, If there is nobody at the counter to help you out you can ask at the service desk or somewhere else for them to call someone back there to help you, at least thats what they do in our store. The person who is working layaway is probably out stocking things or in the back arranging things while nobody is there to wait on.

Thanks for all the info, I have decided not to buy it for him, he does have a ds already and an mp3 player. I just thought it was good for movies and games on the same handheld. But like everyone else said I guess it probably won't get any cheaper so I'll just find something else to get him.

I noticed in mine those really big remote control vehicles on the top shelves and they had alot of them, Im assuming they will have them for BF again this year. There was a hummer and a truck one. I also seen alot of one specific Bratz doll on the top shelf. And some of those packs of little cats Im not sure what they are called but they were wrapped in extra cellophane (sp?) because they had some kinda extra thing you got with them.

Does anyone think the PSP will go on sale for BF? Just trying to figure out if I should wait and see or just get one whenever.
