I Am So Mad At Myself For Not Ordering Last Night!

I would check ebay, I have gotten many books for a fraction of the price in stores. My son loves the wizardology/piratology books and I saved about 10.00 on each.

I had to look this up on youtube because I couldn't imagine her doing a bad job, I love her voice. But, I have to agree, it wasn't very good.

My children collect nutcrackers, I would love to get them each one of those 3ft ones. I just buy a few new ornaments ever year, I don't really collect one thing in particular. Well, maybe Christmas books and dvds...I have to buy new ones every year.

We don't have a theme either, most of our ornaments are from vacations or ones we buy the kids every year. We have some from when my dh and I were dating...baby's 1st ...etc. We also make ornaments each year...something simple the kids can do too, but we love those. And when the kids get married, they will have alot of nice ornaments for their 1st tree. Unlike our 1st tree, we had the crappy ornaments my Grandma or mom gave us because they were too ugly for their trees. lol

My tradition is to watch the premiere episode of Little House on the Prairie ( a great Christmas episode), I try to get the rest of my family to watch it w/ me, but they think it is boring! I watch almost anything on tv, however we only have 12 channels, so the choices are limited, love ABC family. I really want to see Smoky Mtn Christmas, but every time I order it from the library, I never get it until after Christmas, so I just cancel it. Maybe this year!

If anyone else has a code they are not going to use...I would appreciate it! TIA

Usually sometime the week after Thanksgiving

We always leave milk and cookies, some years the kids threw magic reindeer dust in the yard(oats w/ glitter) and a couple years ago, my son insisted we leave Santa one of his Dad's cigars and a bottle of his Guinness. LOL We always leave a few crumbs on the plate and really drink from the glass so it looks real and some years my DH uses a calligraphy pen and leaves a note thanking the kids from Santa.

Fake, they are sooo much easier! However I love the whole looking through the tree farm for the perfect tree and cutting it down and being all bundled up....I could go on. I guess I like the romantic notion of getting a real tree, then reality sets in and we get it home and my husband starts cussing because he can't get it straight etc. So, we have had an artificial one for several years now.

YES! Love to have a white Christmas, we live in SE Ohio and it is 50/50 whether we get snow or not. I love snow any day of winter!

DD5, yes and ds8, not sure, he has questioned since he was 5, but then acts like he believes. I didn't think I had to worry about dd5 until the other day, I said "I have to send your brother's xbox back to where we bought it to get fixed." She says, "WHAT? I thought Santa got it for him?" I guess I have to be more careful now!
