I apologize if this has already been asked somewhere, but I couldn't find it. Santa purchased a set of laser tag guns, but one gun is defective. I'd love to return them for a replacement (and/or a different set) but the box was mutilated by my son when opening it. Will amazon.com take it back without the box or in a box that is held together with 300 pieces of tape? Anyone have any suggestions?

Got the blue Wii console from Walmart yesterday online ($99) and ordered the American Girl stuff I needed before free shipping expired. The rest of the stuff is "small" and I can get it here and there if I watch the lightening deals and online specials. Thrilled not to have to worry about getting anything this year.

We had lunch at AG on opening day! Crazy! Not sure about an experience. It's hard with a late summer birthday - most people are on vacation and then school/sports start. Plus she doesn't do amusements parks or concerts. Will have to think about ideas....

You guys are great! My MIL is getting the AG accessories, but the camera and the room makeover are exactly what she'd like! I think I'll take her to the mall to look at bedding soon - her birthday isn't until late August but I want plenty of time to make the transformation.

She's got an American girl doll, she can't get her ears pierced until she's 10, she's got a DS and MP3 player, what's left??? She has asked for a few small things for her birthday but the grandparents are taking care of those. I'm at a loss. Any good ideas??

I was a little surprised how much my kids liked EVERYTHING they got this year. Usually there's at least one dog, but not this time. For my son (age 6), he LOVES his Terrordactyl (interactive pterodactyl) and hour glass (with blue sand). For my daughter (age 8), she loves her professional microphone/stand/amp and her art set with easel. As for me, I love my Droid docking station - I finally got rid of my Sony Cube alarm clock that I've had since 7th grade.

Nevermind, it let me go back in and order another one!

Do they ever do these again? I actually need 3....

My daughter loves her DS Lite (thank goodness) and we need a carrier of some sort. I'd ideally like it to hold the DS, the games, and the charger. Even better if it is really cute for a girl too. Suggestions on one you have that you like??

For once my kids are thrilled with probably 99% of what they got - not a turkey in the bunch!! Some favorites: DD (7) - Razor Pro scooter, pink canopy for her bed, Melissa & Doug hangman game (really, this is awesome and I plan to go buy more for friends as gifts) DS (almost 5) - Bakugan crap, Razor Rip Rider, but probably most of all would be the 7 (!) flashlights he got. This kid can spent more time playing with flashlights than anyone I know.

My mall (Tysons Corner in VA) has them at a kiosk. You might check around at your local malls and see if they have them too. They cost $25 in person, but it was a wash for me since I bought two (shipping for 2 would have been the same cost). Good luck!!
