  1. I think if you added together all the shoes I've purchased in my life, it wouldn't equal $112.
  2. Anybody starting on their Christmas cards early? I'd like to find a good deal on a personalized Christmas card with a family photo. What are some good websites for that? Thanks C
  3. What's Aldi? Sounds like what I'm looking for though. C
  4. Our old POS finally gave up the ghost. Anyone know of something decent that I can get for around $30? TIA C
  5. Very nice!!! Those Healthy Choice soups are usually hella expensive in the stores. c
  6. So it's not just the ones that appear on the link you provided, but any item from any of those brands listed off to the left? C
  7. Seriously. My brother wants to get me one for Christmas but I need to find where he can order it from. Any ideas? I know it's a popular gift and it's gonna be tough, but I'm counting on you guys to come through TIA C
  8. Yeah, that title pretty much summed it up. My blender is just not cutting it. Is there a good "salsa maker" out there, and if so, where can I go get it at a reasonable price? Many thanks! C
  9. Yeah. It's a Catholic grade school. Approx 20-25 kids in each classroom/grade. C
  10. I'd like to make a donation to my kid's grade school and get them into the 21st century by providing a DVD player for each classroom (plus the library and art/music room). Obviously it wouldn't need to be anything fancy. All it needs to do is play DVD's and hook up to a tv. My local Fred Meyers was selling some Coby versions for $25 each this last week. Something along those lines. Let me know if there's a good deal out there right now, or someplace that would give me a volume discount or a discount for it being for a school. Thanks Chris
  11. Final update. Wife got a great pair of leather pants from Chadwicks for about $40. She looks great in them and is VERY happy (as is hubby). We're off to Vegas on Thursday to try them out. C
  12. You will have to trust me that my wife will do them justice. But, I see where you're coming from. Still haven't gotten them. She's been sick in bed for three days and doesn't want to put on sweat pants much less leather pants.
  13. Every woman should have leather pants she can wear for her husband. Perhaps I'll start a grass roots movement to make this happen. She still hasn't got them yet. I got $200 worth of new Vegas clothes at Macy's, and I know she wants to be stylin' as well. C
  14. LOL, it was her idea! We found some at Chadwick's that might work. You're from NW MN? I have relatives all over that state, including Alexandria. C
  15. And really, I want to help her with this one. Going to Vegas in a month for my birthday and she wants to get some leather pants. Anybody got some good deals on this? I don't get back on this board everyday so maybe you could e-mail me at [email protected] Thanks!!! C
  16. I am helping my daughter (10) raise and save money so she can go to Australia in July 2008 for World Youth Day. I've been looking for an "institution" such as this where I can get a good interest rate, have it be liquid but still pretty untouchable by her. Looks like I can accomplish that if I set it up as a joint account with her name on it. I'll need to do the actual transferring of the money for her, but she can feel good about having her name on it. looks like this is the best way for me to do this, unless someone else has a better idea? C
  17. Daughter is really into this movie, and she loves to dance. Wants the SE because apparently you can learn some of the dance steps. Comes out Dec. 5th, anyone know where I can get it for the best price. TY in advance. Chris
  18. She needs something besides the tiny little boombox. I've seen some decent-looking systems for around $80 which is probably as much as I'd be willing to spend. Ideas? C
  19. I have never owned a digital camera. I'm looking for a fairly inexpensive one, given that I have a couple children who at any time are capable of destroying expensive items no matter how carefully I guard them. From what I've seen there are cameras in the range I mention that will be more than sufficient for me. I was originally looking at the Canon SD600, but is there a better deal out there? This is my first post. Thank you all. Chris
