  1. Clock watcher (sorry, I couldn't resist)
  2. Definately run! At my Best Buy, they don't hand out tickets (at least they haven't yet)...it's first come, first served. Walmart is also that way. After you get the products you want, then it's time to stand on line...which can also be quite long! Best to have someone save you a place in line while you get what you want (otherwise known as tag-team shopping ). Good luck!
  3. I'm so sad that Casual Corner is closing. My store (in Houston area) is already at 40%. Still lot's left (at least at my store).
  4. My office is always closed on BF...we have to take annual leave or no pay for the day.
  5. Our Super Walmarts are open the 24 hours. Last time I was there for the BF opening (2 years ago), they had the grocery section corded off. All the BF deals were dispersed throughout the grocerys (in the isles). Talk about a crazy mess. Everyone who started with a cart, abandoned it and took off in a mad dash to find what they wanted. It was really strange!
  6. Ulta definately has BF ads. Haven't been to a Sephoria or Aveda Brick & Morter type store so not sure of those. Anyone else???
  7. Haven't seen anything here in Houston.
  8. OMG that's exactly what I was thinking. That was the weirdest Walmart experience I EVER had! Eventhough, I did get 2 DVD players, that was the MEANEST group of shoppers I have ever seen in my life!!!
  9. That's when you try to remind people what the season is all about . I also enjoy the thrill of the hunt but the people watching is really the best part.
  10. 2 or 3 years ago, I was trying to purchase the $25 DVD at Walmart. They had them located by the soda section of the grocery part :insane:

    Toys for Charity

Toys for Tots, local shelters, local places of worship as well as most United Way type agencies are always in need of donations of toys for needy children. It is easy to forget there are still have many families who were victims of natural disasters like hurricaines Katrina & Rita. If you see a great BF deal and can afford the extra expense, don't forget to pick up something extra for someone who might otherwise go without. God bless!

    We're on CNN.com!

    Woohooooo!!!!! Congrats!!! :g_clap: :g_clap:
  13. My experience has been that you can purchase only some of the items online, however, the really good deals are usually just available at the stores. Now if your willing to check online on Thanksgiving day you might find some Thanksgiving only deals. I hope that helps!
  14. I usually meet a friend for lunch then shop some more (if there are any good deals to be found).
  15. Whatever is comfortable! The coat (if needed) will probably be left in the car. No purse either (just $ and credit cards in the pocket.
  16. Oh great and powerful black friday spirits, please come forth with the ads for Target, Best Buy and Kohls. Toys-r-us wouldn't hurt either! :yay:
  17. I ALWAYS shop the day after Christmas. I am at the opening of Target, then go to the Hallmark store and then everywhere else. I have bought some beautiful christmas decorations for 50-75% off by purchasing on these days. I also try to stock up on non-holiday type gifts (like candles that aren't to holidayish, prepackaged lotion or cologne, etc.). Don't forget the department stores also have some of these types of items. I also try to hit Target, Walgreens and CVS for the 75% off sales. :D
